I recently stumbled onto an archived version of this, I lost the last
part and just didn't feel like writing it again, but now that I've found
it... Let's just say I wanted to write something that isn't Ranma for a
while. [I know I have my MKR thingy, but I wanted something kind of
serious.] Therefore, I'm starting this work again too.
Don't worry, I haven't given up on Permanent or A Saiyan Tail, or any of
my other normal fics. You'll see more of them in a day or two, as well as
Spirit within two. [Which is already written BTW, all I have to do is
edit it and post it. [I usually do that when I don't really have time to
write, but I feel like doing something. So it really isn't taking much
time away from my other fics.] I like this dark story and I only have a
vague idea where it's going. This is the first three parts on one post.
I'll have the first new chapter for you later tonight.
Oh, I also fixed up some of the plot holes as well.

	Tenchi Muyo in love: Venom.

	Gino watched angrily as Kei smiled at the boy again. He hated the boy;
he always seemed to be better at things than him. He did not mind a few
things, but Tenchi Masaki was better than him at everything. The worst
thing about it was he didn't even seem to notice. He sat with his friends
and smiled oblivious to the fact that every girl who knew him wanted to
be with him. Why not? He was such a nice guy. Not full of himself like
most guys. He's always so polite. Even Kei, his Kei, Tenchi could take
her away from him without a second thought, and he knew it. Gino growled
under his breath. He watched the seemingly clumsy and good-hearted boy
muddle through the day. "Sweet indeed, he knows exactly what he's doing,"
he muttered under his breath. Kei looked at him oddly from her seat. She
didn't seem to know what he was talking about, but then she was a good
actor.

Tenchi walked into his house and was greeted by Ryoko in the usual
manner.
She flew into him and hung all over him. "Tenchi say it isn't so!" she
cried.
"What?" said the boy looking worried. God knew what could have happened
since he had gone to school. He looked around and took a quick count
everyone seemed to be accounted for.
"You aren't really going to Tokyo for a whole two days are you?" cried
Ryoko.
Ayeka grabbed her and tried to pull her off. "Get off lord Tenchi you
monster!"
He looked on helplessly as the argument continued. "It will be nice to
get away from this for a few days."

Gino sat in his seat and looked at him as he sat surrounded by women in
the back of the train. He was trying to look embarrassed by all the
attention. Masaki kept glancing nervously at a group of girls in the
back. "They must be from another school," Gino commented dryly as he
didn't recognize them and they were wearing uniforms.
Kei grabbed his shoulder gently and turned him to face her. "What is
it?" she asked smiling at him.
"Uh, I just don't recognize those girls back there," he replied smiling
weakly at her. Kei looked and frowned, one of them was very well built.
She rested her head on his shoulder and tried to sleep.
Gino frowned. "I hate you Tenchi Masaki," he said looking back a final
time. Kei was smiling as she closed her eyes. "Dreaming about him," his
mind told him.

Tenchi glanced back and looked at Sasami, Ryoko and Ayeka and they waved
back at him cheerfully. "How did they get here?" he wondered slightly
panicked. "I should have known this would happen," he sank into his seat.
"At least they assigned our seats." Somehow that wasn't much comfort.

Ryoko sat in the back. "I can't believe they won't let us sit next to
Tenchi," she grumbled. Her eyes wandered over to where Ayeka was sitting
with Sasami. "Who invited her anyway?" she muttered as the train began
moving.

Ayeka glared at Ryoko and settled in her own seat. "I should have
known." She muttered. She had been planing to use the trip to get Tenchi
alone for a while, just the two of them, but then Ryoko had shown up and
they hadn't allowed her to sit next to Tenchi, also Sasami was there.
Ayeka stopped and looked at her younger sister. "Sasami...what are you
doing here?"
The girl looked up from her bag and smiled at her sister. "Me an'
Ryo-oki are here to make sure you and Ryoko don't mess up Tenchi's trip
with all your fighting," she said cheerfully.
"What?!" asked Ayeka looking at her sister in shock.
"Well Miss Washu said..." started Sasami when Ayeka interrupted.
"It makes sense now. With Sasami here neither one of us will be alone
with Tenchi for very long," she said with a defeated look, mostly to
herself.

Tenchi looked out of the hotel window and sighed. "Tokyo tower," he said
aloud looking at the structure in the distance. "The last place I ever
saw my mother," his thoughts wandered as his two room mates unpacked
their own things and settled into the room. He fingered Tenchi-ken in his
pocket and sighed. He was having mixed feelings about visiting the tower
tomorrow. He wanted to go but felt uneasy about it. He didn't feel safe;
it was like looking at it brought Kain back to life in his mind. He hated
the sight of it. Still, he felt it was necessary to go, it also held
memories of his mother now, memories he didn't want to forget.

Kei looked over the city of Tokyo and smiled. "Gino-kun isn't it..." she
turned and looked for her boyfriend and her smile faded. "Gino-kun? Where
are you?"
Tenchi stood with Ryoko and Ayeka looking over Tokyo from the windows of
the observation deck. A smile crept on his face as he looked at the long
since repaired windows. Ryoko and Ayeka stood and watched him silently
nearby, they felt ashamed that they had forgotten Tenchi's real reasons
for coming on the trip. A strange girl walked up to him and the pair
looked at her in surprise.
"Tenchi-san? Have you seen my Gino around here?" she asked seemingly
oblivious to the look on his face.
"Hmm? No, I'm sorry I haven't seen him." he replied smiling
half-heartedly at her as she woke him from his thoughts.
"Is something wrong?" asked Kei noting the strange look on Tenchi's
face.
Tenchi looked at her and smiled. "This place has personal memories for
me," he said and turned to look out the windows of the tower.

"Gino turned from his place among the crowd and frowned deeply as he saw
him. To make matters worse Kei was with him. His world sank as he watched
her turn slowly away from him with a strange look on her face. "So, he
has her too now. No surprise," he told himself. The class filed towards
the Elevators and he stood watching them for a moment before moving to a
secluded corner of the observation deck, he was in no mood for a tour.

In the rafters above the class something sat motionless in the shadows.
For many years it sat in the shadows moving only to escape the eyes of
men. It had no memory of what it was save a few flashes, flashes of hate.
It knew faces and a few names. No doubt names long gone from this world.
These humans were so weak. It sat and waited. Something moved below it.
Heard a single word that drove its hate, the word was spoken like a
curse. "Tenchi."

Gino sat in his corner of the tower alone. The tower was in the middle
of a mid-day lull and soon another group of students would come. He
didn't care. Let them come. He felt hatred for the one who had stolen his
only safe haven, the girl he loved, but he had seen it coming. Some how
that didn't make it any easier. "Tenchi," he said with venom in his
voice.
It came on him from above. He cried out in surprise and fear as it
wrapped around him. "You are mine weak human," said the voice that
invaded his mind. A flash of images played through his head. Women he
didn't know, some of them had glowing weapons. The word Jurai, and
finally him. With an enormous hate filled will he pushed the thing from
his mind.
"No my body is mine!" he cried. The thing shuddered and seemed to start
melting away from him. He felt the desperation and hate from the thing
that clung to him.

It was strong once, now even a weak human could push it away. It knew it
was but a small part of a larger being. The rest of it had been destroyed
by the house of Jurai. Now it would never have its vengeance. It felt
something from the boy. Hate. Hate for the same one as he. Perhaps all
was not lost yet. With all its strength it began to cling to the boy
again.

Tenchi was not getting much sleep recently. Not since the night in Tokyo
where he discovered his newest problem. He had been home now for almost
two weeks. He sat up in bed screaming again. Washu was at a loss to
explain what the thing in the hotel was and everyone watched the news
every night for a week after it happened waiting for it to strike again.
All of them were hoping beyond hope that the Tokyo police department
would capture it; if only to ease Tenchi's mind slightly. The boys in the
room were his friends, and now they were gone. Ryoko had returned several
times to Tokyo in fruitless attempts to capture the thing she had battled
in the room. That was when Tenchi started getting letters. Each one had
the same message written on it, "I'm coming." He would find them at home
or in school, sometimes waiting for him at the base of the shrine in the
mailbox. They had nothing on them but his name written in a reddish brown
ink that Tenchi was afraid to let Washu analyze.

Tenchi looked at the now vacant seats in his class and frowned. No one
had spoken of the students except in private. He saw one of the girls
looking sadly at one of the seats in particular. He glanced at the
teacher, and noticed that his gaze often shifted to the missing seats as
well. He sighed and stood as the bell rang and the students all stood and
bowed to the teacher before walking out of the room to their respective
lockers. He waved casually to some acquaintances nearby who smiled and
waved back. "Ohaiyou, Tenchi-san," said a pleasant voice behind him. He
turned and saw Kei smiling at him nervously.
"Ohaiyou," he replied and smiled politely.
"I just wanted to tell you Gino Kun will be back tomorrow," said the
girl cheerfully.
"Why is that?" he asked her.
"Well, I thought you might like to know, since you were both attacked by
it. I've noticed everyone has been really shaken up by all this
especially you," she said frowning and looking fairly distant.
"I'm sorry about your cousin, he was a good friend," said Tenchi as he
left her to her thoughts.
	"Yes," she replied half-heartedly.
Then he found it in his locker, it was scrawled in the rough lettering
normally used for monsters and youma in manga. "Tenchi I'm coming for
you. Venom," it said. He stared at it in disbelief, it was the first
letter that had ever been signed. Now he had a name, not that it helped
much.

Gino smirked as he walked away from the school. He would enjoy killing
Masaki slowly. "Revenge, for both of us," he chimed cheerily as he
walked. He turned a corner and saw something unusual; a man was holding
up an elderly couple in the park. "How cliche' our hero gets super powers
and the first thing he gets is a stupid mugging." He muttered as his
other began to move with excitement. "I suppose we could just kill all of
them?"
Gino walked over just as the older man grabbed reflexively at the mugger
as he went for the old woman's pearls . The young punk turned pushed him
to the ground, sneered and shot him three times in the chest. The woman
screamed fell to the man's side. "No witnesses," said the boy, and blew
her brains out quite calmly.
"You shouldn't have done that," said Gino as he walked up to the boy. He
was actually about twenty from the look of him and was dressed in a black
leather jacket that screamed 'Arrest me!' Gino smiled as the boy grinned
and turned the gun on him.
"If you had kept quiet I might not have noticed you kid, and I wouldn't
have had to do this," he said and fired a few rounds into Gino's chest.
"I was supposed to save them. Oh well, I guess I'm not cut out to be a
hero anyway, I'll just settle for cold vengeance," said Gino as several
black tendrils shot from his clothes and caught the bullets a foot or so
from his body. The punk not being quite -that- dumb hauled ass. Gino
casually reached and pointed his arm at the boy. It turned into a large
black spike and shot out twenty feet when the boy was only fifteen feet
away leaving Gino standing with one bare leg. He looked down at his leg
and sighed. "I guess it was just a little too far," he said and retracted
his arm as the boy fell to his knees and died. Gino walked over to him
and kicked him over as the boy let out his last gasp. "Probably a Juraian
anyway," he snorted as he looked into the boys dark blue eyes. "I guess
not," he snorted as the other told him that this was indeed a
human.

The next day Gino returned to school. He walked into class and was
greeted by Kei. "Gino-kun!" she cried happily as she ran up to him and
wrapped her arms around his neck. "I'm so glad your back!"
"She's crying?" he thought as he reluctantly returned the hug in front
of the whole class.
"Wow, she's got it bad," said one of the girls across the room quietly
to her friend. The other girl only nodded.
Gino looked at them and tried to pretend he hadn't heard. It wouldn't do
to give it all away, not now. He looked at Masaki as he sat smiling at
him like a Cheshire cat. "It's nice to see him back, she was worried," he
seemed to say to himself.
Gino suppressed a growl. "So that's what they meant," he thought
bitterly.
He stepped out of the embrace and Kei looked at him oddly. "Is something
wrong Gino-kun?" she asked in a worried tone.
	"Excellent acting," thought Gino.
"No, its just, they're not here ya know," he said. "Heh, I can act too,"
he thought privately.
"I understand," she said and sat in her seat next to him.
	Class went on uninterrupted.

Tenchi stood in front of his locker a week later and sighed. He was here
alone today, school was over and he had clean up duty that day. He
finished later than usual and had to go pick up his books. He frowned as
he saw the note he knew would be there. "I'm beginning to think this is
some sort of sick joke," he muttered to himself as he pulled it off. He
opened it and his face fell. He looked up and down the hall nervously and
began to run towards the stairs that would take him out of the building.
The note hit the floor. "I'm here," it said.
From the shadows two eyes glowed and began to move after him. "Heh,
Tenchi we'll chase you to the ends of the universe," it said giddily in
its inhuman voice as it sank into the floor.
Tenchi turned down the hall and headed towards the stairs that lead to
the first floor. He stopped cold. There was a huge hole in the ceiling as
if something had ripped its way down to the second floor.
"We told you we were here. Your girlfriend won't save you this time," it
giggled as it appeared from the shadows nearby.
Tenchi felt as if he could choke on his own heart. "What do you want
from me?" he said shakily.
"Your life," it said as if it were giving him the time, "and the life of
every Juraian on this planet," it continued as it slowly advanced.
"Every Juraian? What are you talking about!?" asked Tenchi in confusion.
As far as he knew the his family, and the two princesses were the only
Jurians on earth.
It reached out for him and spikes grew from its hand as it slowly grew.
Venom cocked its arm back and prepared to strike. Tenchi closed his eyes
and put his arms up defensively.

Nothing happened, he slowly opened his eyes and looked around; only to
find he was alone. He fell to his knees and hit the ground in
frustration. "Why are you doing his to me?!" he cried at the empty halls.
He turned and made his way out of the school, as he walked out of the
front doors he heard his name. He froze in fear twenty feet outside the
door and slowly turned looking back into the building as someone said his
name again. It sounded different than the other voice. He looked back and
saw his friend Ida, the boy who's head had landed on his chest. He gasped
and backed away in horror, the boy looked like he had been put back
together with glue. He as standing, but the places where he had been
ripped apart were very clear, his intestines were in a pile at his feet.
"You couldn't protect me, what makes you think you can protect your
family from it?" said the Ida thing. With that the doors to the school
slammed shut and Tenchi was overwhelmed by the maddening silence. He
turned and ran all the way home ever daring to look back for fear of what
he might see.
