I'm a big fan of Mononoke, and you won't find a person more nuts about Ranma
1/2 than me, but I would consider a crossover between the two to be nothing
less than Miyazaki blasphemy. It can be done... and I've got ideas on how it
can be done properly, but it's one of those things that just -shouldn't- be
done. If you've gotta do a crossover so out of left field, try doing a
crossover between Ranma 1/2 and the bible. Again, one of the things
that -shouldn't- be done, and the original 'author' even demanded it so, but
I'd find -that- more palatable, and I'm anti-religious mind you.
Here's a better idea... try doing a crossover of all the most popular Ranma
1/2 fanfics. That'd be interesting.

My friends and i were watching Princess Mononoke and started
disscusing
various ideas regarding possible corssovers or fusions.
1) Ranma fell into spring of drownd kodama or shishigami (god of the
forest);
kodama would be cute, but shishigami might be pretty rediculous (imagin
transforming him at night!).
2) Have all the curses be that of the various forest gods.
3) place the R1/2 caracters in the mononokeverse.
