I'm not usually this judgemental, but ...
You can't make this work.
Not because of series incompatibility alone. Well, that's good enough reason.
Anthromorphs abound in DBZ and we don't see any in Ranma. The really
big martial arts tournament that Gokou and friends always go to, would have
Ranma in attendance by the age of ten, the way Genma was going about.
And another reason is... well, personally it's boring. And trust me coming from
a gal who reads at least ...oh... three Ranma fics every day, if that particular day
was heavy, that's a bad thing. I don't get bored from Ranma that easily, but
DB and DBZ put me to sleep. The initial offering doesn't have the zest I usually
look for in a first chapter, sorry.
In the hands of another author, it may work. But I don't think your style is right for
this work. Yes, there were nice touches but not enough to redeem the work.
My advice is to make the first chapter longer and give it more energy. That's
all I can say.

Filipina ! Nice to see you others on the FFML other than the Zu guys and

Anyway, what I have to say is bad formatting. Fix it. And of course, the
initial impression from the prose style gives me quite a few guesses at
what Hikaru is and all I can say is "Ack". Is it a somewhat neccesity nowadays
to write a MKR fic in a dark/shadowy fashion ?
Anyway, the only other comment is the pacing is too fast. Take it, slow it
down. More introspection and description. Other than that, the fic is fine.
No grammar mistakes or typos to note.

Review:
I've read UY-TSY and well, I didn't care much for it. Not that because it's bad.
It is quite well written. But, there's a feeling about it that bores me a bit.
But as they taught you in Eng 4, slog through a written work and you'll find at
least one jewel or a diamond mine. And in the end, hold no bias but judge the
work by it's merit and you own somewhat skewed logic. ^_^
Anyway, and admirable piece of writing. Good pacing and very good
descriptions. It is a very fine piece of work and would go over well with
UY-TSY fans, of couse excepting those the author managed to offend
with some portrayal as given in the note, and it might even get a few
newbies interested in the main series. It works very well and it might
even convert me. But as all Bibats are hard to convert, I doubt that. ^_^

Well, for starters your formatting, as in all of your works, sucks. I usually
ignore it from you, since I've liked your other works specially Spirit Within
1 and Permanent, but it's still kinda distracting.
Anyway, an average piece of work. Nothing special, though the conversations
have your touch to them. Anyway, I wasn't grabbed by this like your other
works and I was reading it at 2 in the morning so excuse me for some of
my observations.

Okay, one review. I've read all of it and the only thing once again I will
say is formatting and since you're thinking big for the series, write big.
I mean make it at least reach the 50 kb mark for each chapter.
The way I see it, this could have easily reached the 100+ kb mark. But, I
understand. Students and most professionals don't usually have the time
to write big. Anyway, try to rework it. I see the seeds of a fine piece of work
if you fix the formatting and the aforementions problem.

Review:
SMJ fics as a whole are hard to write about. This fic is harder since it
doesn't deal with the usual characters. But it's an interesting concept
and I'll be watching it. Once again, formatting.

Review:
Yoroiden isn't exactly my cup of tea. But anyway, the fic on the whole is well
written and is quite a good read. As always. Anyway, fans of the series
will probably like it, but newbies will probably be confused a little.

You know, Scott, I have a dream of one day starting my own publishing

all in my ten year plan. All I need now is a little money and a good stable
of writers. And it wouldn't hurt if my the friends I have in Japan would
actually pull through,too.
The way you write this, once I've got myself started up, I'll send a contract
over. Once again, you've made a magnificent piece of work, now all
I need is manga artist to rip it off. ^_^

You know, the way you make worlds, I wanna play in one of your sandboxes
one of these days. Anyway, a rather fresh Ranma and SM fic and beautifully
written. A few typos of course, but that is expected. Anyway, a dozen or so
concepts for me to rip... borrow are in the fic and it's beautifully made.
A must read.
And churn it out faster Mark, I'm waiting for the mass carnage that will ensue !

How many times have I praised this series and wished I had the guts
to have wrote it ? Many times.
The series' quality is kept up and the dark levels of the fic have hopefully
reached their maximum. And it's good. Another must read.
