Hi,
I am going to try to take the time to digest all the C&C coming on this fic
before replying in detail, but I wanted to make a few comments:
1. I don't see this Ranma in this story as exactly the same person.
Externally, very similar, but his internal emotions and motivations are
quite different from the Ranma in the manga. These differences are just part
of the premise of the story. I think if the Ranma here were the same person
as the manga, the story would go in a very different direction.
2. I think I gave the impression that this is taking place rather later in
the manga series than I had meant to. I need to work on that.
3. The comments about Genma are all character's POV. The narrative makes no
statements about him one way or the other. You might want to wait until you
read parts 2 and 3 (which Steve will be posting tonight and tomorrow night)
before assuming you know how Genma will be portrayed. :-)
