I had fun putting this in because I've been to Harajuku and Hakone (not
Ibaraki). Steve will be putting some Harajuku photos up with the story on
his site. I am still looking for my Hakone photos so I can scan them...
I've never been to Ibaraki, but I checked out some Japanese web sites as
research for that part. I have to admit that in reality it's very unlikely
there is *anywhere* left on the Ibaraki coast that isn't developed. The
photos I saw of beaches there show that they're *mobbed*. It's too close to
Tokyo, just a few hours.
