Subject: [FFML] [SPAM] To those who has an inkling with Genma's Daughter

We've been receiving quite a lot of mail concerning Genma's Daughter, and
it seems that most C & C has mixed views toward it.
I would like to issue a challenge to all those who has an inkling about
the fic's pacing, characterization, realism, plot, etc...

Make use of all the criticisms and comments and then construct a new,
better plotted, better characterization, and more realistic >Genma's
Daughter.

It seems that every three months or so, a new batch of challenges get
launched about everything. I have not read Genma's Daughter and all the
ruckus does not help me want to read it. While I have always intended to
collaborate with other authors about doing versions of each other's fics
(and HAVE done it), I intend to do it with their blessings and with their
permission. I certainly will not write about it simply because I am being
dared to do so.

In fact, I have a strange feeling that this challenge is skating on very
thin ice. What will this prove? Certainly the authors won't be too thrilled
about the prospect of having their prized idea stolen underneath their
noses. Frankly, who is to say which version is better, anyway? And what is
going to stop other people from taking ideas from everyone else and claiming
theirs is the better version.

I don't care if your intent was to simply shame all the people who are
voicing their opinions on the subject. Maybe have them shut up for a while.
I don't care. This was simply irresponsible.

I'm just waiting for what the Admin have to say.

Good day.
