  Well, he's spent a few years slaughtering people; I doubt he can possibly have the same attitude as canon Ranma, not unless he's psychotic at some level.  Then again, perhaps we haven't seen all of this Ranma's facets yet...  <grin>

Misao? I can see a connection between Ryoga and Yahiko
as well. Saito... Hmm... He WAS married, but only
Pantyhose Taro fits the description... What about
Sanosuke? This is interesting...

  Actually, if Sano's strength is the result of genes, Ryouga would be a likely descendant, wouldn't he?  Plus, Sano wasn't initially on Kenshin's side and keeps vowing to get stronger - kinda like Ryouga. The Futae No Kiwami is a distant cousin of the Bakusai Tenketsu, also...

  I agree that Saitoh and Tarou definitely have similar personalities...  Especially in this fic, I could see Tarou as someone who, like Saitoh in RK, has unfinished business with Ranma. As for being an actual descendant of Saitoh... well, one of Saitoh's heirs could have wandered over to China and gotten married there, starting Tarou's line.  Just a suggestion...

  Ukyou as the inheritor of Misao's "genki" genes?  :)  Her spat-shurikens could be an offshoot of Misao's knives...

  I can see Cologne more rabid than ever in her efforts to marry Ranma to Shampoo (especially for the Hiten Mitsurugi).

  Oh well, this story has a *lot* of potential...  I personally think that bringing in *some* ancestry (not all, though) from RK could liven some things up.  That's just me, of course.

  Why do I picture this version of Herb as Shishio?  Lessee... Government tried to off him, but didn't quite succeed and now he's out for revenge and they need Ranma to take him out...  Oh well, just a comment <shrug>
