For posting her reply to Mass Dahn's alleged private flame to the FFML,
which I can see little reason for beyond attempting to perpetuate a
flamewar, Marsia Mariner is postbanned for one week. I am also displeased
with her choosing to publicly post a reply to Thomas Hood's privately-sent
commentary; as the FAQ indicates, do not post replies to privately-sent
messages, _whatever_ they may be, to the FFML.
The matter of the veracity of the Mass Dahn flame is beyond my
jurisdiction, as the original flame Marsia Mariner is apparently claiming
to have received did not appear on the FFML. I am also unable to tell due
to her formatting of her post which parts of the message are the alleged
flame, and which parts are her reply.
Finally, I am not happy with Thomas Hood's behaviour; specifically, his
levelling of "snob" accusations against Marsia Mariner over her reply to
his commentary (name calling is something we try to discourage here) and
his reply to Marsia Mariner's posting of the alleged Mass Danh flame, which
accomplished little more than fanning the flames. He should have known
better than to do this, and can consider himself on probation for the next
little while.
For the rest of you, the thread is banned. No one fan the flames any
further, please.
