Chapter Two
Meetings
( DRAFT)
As Ranma and Skuld began to walk out the door, a sudden
shout, stopped them. Suddenly a very lovely pair of legs
began to come out of the TV set, � Urd what are you doing
here?� asked Skuld.
�I was summoned to grant a wish� replied Urd �As soon as
I saw who it was, I hurried as much as I could. Why are you
here, little sister?�
�I was summoned for the same reason, except I was told to
get here ASAP, I wasn't even given time to read the file. I
didn�t know it was our nephew until after I arrived. Why
would they send us both, for one call.�
�Err, I made two calls to the number, Keiichi gave me
and when I got the Goddess Help Line, I redialed with the
series of numbers reversed and got something called the
Demon Grant a Wish Hot Line and tried again with the
original order and got the Goddess Help Line again.�
sheepishly commented Ranma.
�Oh no, we've got to get you out of here fast or a demon
will appear and either attack or try to bargain for your
soul.� shouted Skuld.
�Too late. I am here and I will get the soul of this
Morta... Wha- Ranma! What are you doing here? Are are you
the one I am supposed to bargain with? I can't do that. I
promised you to never threaten your soul, after all you are
my fiancee.� Mara almost screamed!
�Mara, I have a question, I have to ask before we go any
further. Did you know about Genma stealing me as a newborn,
in order to torture me.? asked Ranma
�HE WHAT, I'll show that fat Panda what Hell is all
about. No, Calm Down girl, No I didn�t Ranma and I'll give
my oath on that. If I had known I would have helped you to
find your real parents.� replied Mara
�He has found his real family now, Mara, we are his
Aunts and Bell is his Mother. When we started to check on
Cherries�s file to see what kind of magic she would
specialize in, we found out that she was related to Bell but
not her daughter, rather more like a great-niece. She is
apparently descended from our oldest sister, who died in the
last set of wars. The file showed that she is the Daughter
of a Nodoka Masaki. Who was drugged with a love potion by
one Genma Ikari and Impregnated with some sperm from an
unknown source. She subsequently married Genma Ikari who
took the name Saotome to hide from certain creditors (
Yakuza among others) He then traded the babies wrist
bracelets, since we didn�t check the files and Cherries had
some of our blood, we didn�t detect anything wrong until
recently. Then we started looking for our nephew, whom we
finally found today. For some reason, Yggdrasil wouldn't
show his location, so we finally had to rely on information
from Cherries files and hire a private detective. We haven't
been able to find out why the system wouldn't reveal who
Cherries father really was or what happened to Ranma here.�
�Good Grief, you sound like someone giving bad expository
dialogue, Urd.�
�Just trying to give Ranma here a little background on
why it took three goddesses sixteen years just to notice he
was gone.�
�That's all right Urd,�
�Call me Aunt�
�Are you sure, I am your nephew? I mean Genma may have
swapped babies more than once. Knowing him, I wouldn't be
surprised at anything he did. I mean he is worse morally
than Happosei. You know him, Mara, he is worse than the
Demon, that I beat, last month when we met.
�You fought a demon, and beat him too. Said Skuld
surprised. You don't even have your magic yet. How could you
fight a demon?�
� Some idiot who attacked Mara, when we were out
walking. You know of all my Fiancees Mara is the one I like
best. She never tries to force me or drug me or kill me,
well after our first meeting.
Any way I am a Martial Artist, I have fought gods,
demons, and a couple of phoenixes. I am Ranma Saotome, I
never give up and I never Lose.�
�Well, until today, I never lost. Today I lost all of my
family and loved ones and friends.� sighed Ranma. �I don't
even know my own name now.�
Well, come on and I'll introduce you to your new and
original family. You already have met Urd; Norn of the Past.
I am Skuld; Norn of the Future. In a couple of minutes we'll
take you to meet your Mother and Father. Then if you still
have any doubts we can do a check on you and determine your
real parentage.
The End of chapter Two
I am working on chapter three where the action starts. This
is mostly just setting things up. I want to mention that I
lost all of my E-Mail for the last six months, thanks to a
new program I installed. So anyone I didn't thank for their
E-Mail personally please forgive as I have lost all of your
comments. I would welcome anyone who wishes to resend their
comments on part one to do so. I just found the FFML mini
archive and I want to thank everyone who voted for chapter
one.
Please remember this is an parallel word story and not an
alternate world story. So where people are not what you
expect, it's because they never were the people you expect.
