Okay, weird idea but I really think I could do something with this.
I'm thinking about an EVA/Highlander crossover. The main crux of it
being that Kaji is an Immortal. A young one since we know he's aged
since his college days.
Anyway, the Gathering is to be in Tokyo-3 and the world's remaining
Immortals, including MacLeod and Methos, are coming to the city. Gendo
and SEELE aren't happy about this. They know about Immortals and think
that the Prize they fight over may be a threat to the Instrumentality
Project. The Angels aren't exactly happy about it either. Especially
#17.
Basically, the story would pick up with Kaji and Asuka's arrival in
Tokyo-3 and follow Kaji not only as he carries out his mission, but as
the Gathering continues. But this mission now includes a personal
matter. Learn the connection between SEELE and the Watchers and prevent
SEELE from exterminating all Immortals. With some help from Duncan and
Methos, of course. ;)
