I beg to differ. The guy who started this thread was not trying to say:
If you're a fan forget about writing the story.
He's just saying that if you do write a story, its important that you get so involved that it starts to affect your writing. Speaking of that, I've ended up getting too involved being a fan of Ranma 1/2, suddenly making my writing really.... stupid, if you know what I mean, and I end up deleting the whole story after proofreading. That happens often, and I know that half the fans on this list have too. Now, his letter was not meant to be taken literally, but to actually be read and have you say, "I disagree, but i'll consider your words."
Which I hope is true. I hope the others of you on the list do not take offense for my respone.
And please, remember to make sure you censor yourself while on the ffml. This is a fanfiction mailing list, not a place to make a spotlight for yourself and insult others on the list. Thank you.
Again i say, this was not meant to offend anyone. It was only to stick up for a fellow ffml member.
