Yeah, um ... okay.  I can't quite place this fic in any genre and be 100% sure that I'm correct.  At first, I thought that this fic was a humor one, since Rei's direct line of thought is taken to the extreme here.  When Asuka goes psycho after Rei, and Rei after Soryu, well, then it got kind of ... strange.

Somehow, though, I thought this was worth the read, and will probably read again just to try to figure things out.  There's a tinge of "The Twilight Zone" in here somehow, and maybe the title has something to do with it, but I don't know what it means, so ... eh ... right.

The only spelling mistake I found was where Asuka states something like "You would be too if you were in my position."  The "too" was typed as "to."

I think this works as a quickfic, but I'm not sure how it would work as a teaser, since the ultimate production would leave most EVA readers either confused or angry that their favorite red-head had been warped into the enemy.  Well, whatever, if there's a plan for it, and the author thinks it will work, then let the storyteller tell his story.
