Overall an interesting short piece from Mari-chan's perspective.
As for public reply, anyone think a My Dear Marie cross or meld with
Eva, Lain or the Matrix work? No, scratch that. It's probably been
done.
If it's been done, I haven't heard of it. Episode three is undoubtedly the
most interesting of the whole series. Saber Marionette J is a better match in
tone, but I guess that's not what you're aiming for.
I was planning to do a Mari-chan/Mari-san fic, picking up from where the last
episode ended. Chris Davies did one already, though--covered all the ground I
was going to tackle and more. Damn you, Chris! ^_^ Oh well, there's always
Rayearth fusion and St. Tail yuri (which no one else seems to be interested in
doing).
