Ok this is my first true post to the list, even if I subscribed 2 months ago. It is a teaserfor an original fanfic I am going to write.
Please do give me your opinion about this, for I need comments and critics BAD. Maybe if some people are interested I could have a few prereaders...

Tohe sighed has he entered his new apartement. How long he would keep it was a mystery.... all would depend on how his curse would treat him. For the moment he was a man in his late twenties, he was lucky about that. You don't see a twelve year old girl signing papers for an apartement...
His life was getting from bad to worse. The last thing he wanted was for his uncle to die... yeah he saw him once or twice a year and the inheritance was large, but he was going to miss having a safe place to stay. Hopefully it would get any worse...
Again, Tohe cursed his bloodline. Being born the son of a shapeshifter was the root of all his problems since he was twelve. His mother had by then died and took the secrets of his birth with her, and also the knowledge of his father. Althrough, if father was like his son, the way he looked like wouldn't help much.
He easily recalled the day he accidently learned of his "talent". At first it was fun, changing body to pull pranks on others... but a few days later he found out the price for this power... and what a price it was! To become of another body, another age and sometimes another sex... only keeping your memories, your soul... and those deep blue eyes. from now on, at every full moon, he would be a different person...
But compared to this, his ability to change bodily wasn't worth much, and the short, one hour time limit it had made nearly worthless in his eyes.
So since that time he had to get away for school, for the full moon had made him shapechange into a totally different person, unfiting to continue his studies... And his talent would not last long enough to pass through the whole day.
And he kept on living, changing every month. Sometimes a girl, sometimes a boy, sometimes young and sometimes old... It was difficult but he managed through. He was basically alone, his uncle so little that he could use his shortlived shapechange to keep him from realizing his newphew's weird condition...
But two weeks ago his uncle had died, hit by a drunk coming from a party. Tohe, his only relative, had recieved his compagny (handled by trustees, for he was too young for this, even if he had been in the body of a 65 year old woman...) and a large amount of money, which was basically useless to him. He had to leave his uncle's house, for he could not manage this mansion's duties alone (and with his curse others where out of the question.)
So that bring us to now, were Tohe walks in his newly-rented apartement. What can you do when you aren't the same person each month? Getting a job or going to school is impossible, having friend will do nothing, and finding a girlfriend is useless....
His life wasn't getting any better...
