If any one here has read the elseworlds "Created Equal" (both parts) this is 
where this comes from.  16 years have passed for Ranma and the surviving 
members of the Nerima Wrecking Crew and the cure to the 'fall' had been found 
by Superman and any traces of the fall have dissipated and Ranma is now about 
36-38 years old?  Ranma had spent all that time as a girl, thanks to the 
magic bucket of the musk. any takers on this idea maybe
