At any rate, I think that my main complaint is the overly simplistic
view this story takes of this event. There's no conflict, so the story
lacks any driving tension. For the first few chapters, I was wondering
what would happen when everyone found out about Tenchi's choice. I was
very disappointed to find out that the answer was "nothing." Which
makes me wonder why the choice was important at all.

Hmm... hearing this, I'm kinda prompted to think about the Orange Road OVA
ending. What with Hikaru's umm.. inability to let go would have been what
I'd expected out of Aeka.

But while the lack of conflict in the fic might have been
uncharacteristic, it feels.. well.. nice. :) Complacent is prolly more
like it. ( A less positive term would be subdued. )

Still, it was presented in an interesting way. Though after having read
part five, it seems the Ranma 1/2 cameos is more of a plot device/way out
for Aeka.

Still, there is no reason for Mihoshi and Kiyone to leave since Mihoshi's
and Kiyone's job is to patrol that sector. Washuu... well, what's ever
stopped her from experiementing with whomever she's wanted to?

So more likely than not, if it is going to follow what is known about
Tenchi Muyo, all the girls will most likely return and create a new
"chaotic equilibrium".

Afterall, isn't that how stories remain interesting? :)

Wing. { But yeah, the constant calm is highly uncharacteristic. }
