Whoo! Great stuff! Well worth the wait. I have but one, niggling correction.
Joan of Arc would be refered to as "Jeanne, La Vierge D'Orleans" as opposed
to "Plucelle du Orleans". Plucelle (I assume) is a typo, since "pucelle" is an
extremely slangy term for virgin or maid, sometimes used to refer to the actual
hymen. The more correct word would be vierge, meaning virgin, although one
wouldn't capitalize it; the only "Vierge" with a capital "V" in Catholicism is
Mary, mother of Christ. Orleans takes the possessive "D'" rather than "du",
since although it is a feminine noun, it begins with a vowel. I'm not gonna get
on your case for "Jehanne", since Jeanne is the more common term; I assume you
used the archaic Jehanne because Joan was speaking in archaic French, am I
right?
Anyway, a terrific hoot of a story, all told.
Can I start nagging you for part four, or is it too soon? = )
