The disclaimer, practically every character here is NOT mine. They all
belong to their respective company. I am using a lot of them, so I can't
list them all. Beside, I am gonna add more series to the story later on.
Don't sue me. You won't get a penny out of me. Trust me, you won't. For
others, there are SOME characters I made up, but who cares? I don't.

Chapter 5.
< What a guy! A man who swept them off their feet! >
Part 1
In Washu's lab.
"WHY THE HELL IS IT TAKING SO FREAKING LONG!!!!!"
The continuous yelling of the space-pirate was beginning to hurt the others'
ears. But no one was worried about her. Sure, her power was very
dangerous, and her temper was just as dangerous. However, they knew she
wouldn't be able to cause any more trouble for a while, since she was still
locked up in an ice cube.
"Can't you just shup up for a minute?!?!"
But she was STILL annoying a certain princess. That made Ayeka scream more,
which added to the others' pain. It was doubtful whether the princess's
power was equal to that of her adversary or not, but there was no doubt her
temper was definitely equal to no other.
"BOTH OF YOU!! SHUT UP!! I AM WORKING HERE!!!"
Of course, the greatest genius in the universe did not mean she had the
greatest patience. Her yell pierced through everyone's head, including
Ryoko and Ayeka. No one would dare to go against her though. She was
powerful, hot-tempered, and most importantly, she was free at the moment.
Seeing that her audience had finally become silent, although it was due to
the headache caused by her yell, Washu went back to her work. While it
would have been easy for her to track down Tenchi and Sasami, it was taking
a bit longer than she would like, because the satellite wasn't as advanced
as Washu's equipment. She had to translate the coordinates into the terms
that the satellite could understand, and then the satellite would have to
find its target by its long, slow process. Washu mildly made a note to
herself to modify this 'piece of junk' later.(1)
Then the control panel beeped, catching Washu's attention. It seemed that
the satellite had finally located Tenchi and Sasami.
"Took it long enough, geez!"
Washu's exclamation brought others' attention back to the screen, Ryoko
being the first to react.
"What? What? You got it?"
"Washu-CHAN. Did you find Tenchi-sama?" Ayeka was just as excited as her
archrival, since this concerned not only her Tenchi-sama, but also her own
sister, Sasami.
"Um, what were we doing here again?"
"Grrrr... Just watch the screen, Mihoshi."
"Good. Now let's see what we got here. Hmm? Nobuyuki? Nobuyuki?"
Katsuhito turned back, and sweatdropped as he found Nobuyuki praying in
front of an altar, which had almost every single religious symbol on it.
"PLEASE don't let the CIA find out. PLEASE don't let the CIA find out.
PLEASE don't let the CIA find out..."
"Myah?"
Katsuhito looked down to find the cabbit, staring at him with eyes full of
questions. The priest shook his head and answered, "you DON'T want to
know."
"Myah?"
Then the overhead screen brightened again. Washu eagerly turned to the
rest.
"We have a visual!"
Everyone, including Nobuyuki, lifted their heads to the screen.
The light died down, and some figures were beginning to form on the
screen......
In a different dimension which existed deep in Sasami's subconscious, the
blue-haired goddess had quietly watched the scene, and the actions of the
mysterious man. While she was glad that her counter part seemed to be safe
now, the sudden appearance of this man had her extremely puzzled. Who was
this man? Where did he came from? What was his purpose? But the most
important question of all was...
'How was he able to block my entrance?'
Tsunami frowned. So far in her life there were only two beings that were
powerful enough to stop her. One was Tokimi and the other one was Washu.
But Washu hadn't acknowledged her true identity yet, so that ruled HER out.
If Tokimi was here Tsunami would have known about it. It was definitely
this man's power that forced her to sit down and watch.
But how?
Washu's gems, which could supply the quality and quantity of power equal of
Tsunami's own, were embedded in Tenchi-ken. But Tenchi-ken had been in the
possession of Tenchi ever since he freed Ryoko. Therefore there was no way
that Washu had anything to do with this.
'Does that mean he was sent by Tokimi?'
However the goddess shook her head. She KNEW her sister well. This wasn't
her way of working things out. She would pull a string or two to make
things go her way, but she wouldn't use a such an extreme method as this
one. Also, the man's power, while as similar as Tokimi's in strength-wise,
had a very different feel. Whoever this man was, he was NOT Tokimi's
underling.
'Then who is he?'
There was only one way to find out. She would have to find out herself.
With the man far away from Sasami, the portal was now accessible. Without
hesistation, the goddess floated in the air, and flew through the gate to
the outside world.
In the park, people, and some goddesses, stood shocked, as they saw the man
single-handedly defeat all the monsters and their leader. Not only did the
man banquish his enemies, he did it so easily. With all of their efforts
combined, they only managed to hold their ground against them. But this
man, by himself no less, took out the entire army...
Minagi was very excited. For the first time since becoming a pirate hunter,
she found a worthy opponent. True, Tenchi was the one who defeated her
master, but she had no desire to challenge the prince. But this man was a
different story. Minagi should be able to learn something from him, and
would become stronger. Just like her master wished her to be......
On the other hand, the Senshi were all very disturbed. While they were glad
that the threats were gone now, thanks to him, but the man was too strong
compared to themselves. As an ally, he would be a great asset, but as an
enemy, he would be a nightmare to them.
The fact that he used the attack of one of their own also bothered them.
They couldn't even imagine that there was someone else other than Sailor
Pluto who could use the Death Scream. It was one of the strongest attacks
among their techniques. Knowing that this total stranger had used it right
in front of their eyes, Senshi, especially the Outers, couldn't help but to
feel a little threatened by the man. They had to find out who he was.
The goddesses weren't very happy either. In fact, at least to the Norns,
the monsters had become the least of their concerns right now. They had
been searching for the mysterious power for two months, but they had found
no clue. Then, all of sudden, the one whom they had been seeking appeared
right before them. Although he had aided them in their struggle against the
monsters, they would still need some answers out of him.
The Tendos were there too, but they had no idea what was going on. Soun and
Genma were thinking of a scheme to somehow use the man to get rid of their
master, while Nodoka was trying to stop them from such rudeness. Kasumi was
just smiling as usual, and Nabiki was thinking of a way to make money out of
this. Akane was just worried about Ranma.
Tenchi? He was also there, but everybody just ignored him now, much to his
relief.
Minagi took a step towards the man, with intention of getting some
information.
Neptune looked at the other Senshi, who nodded with the look of agreement.
She nodded back to her friends and took a step forward. She would have to
ask him some questions.
Uranus also took a step, but she was actually going for her Space Sword,
which was still in the man's hand, much to her annoyance.
Urd walked towards the man in cape, also trying to get some answers out of
him. Belldandy stayed back with Skuld, but she was intently watching him.
All of them, to question one man.
But somebody beat all of them to it.
"Excuse me, sir. But I wish to have some words with you."
'Eh?!'
Everyone was frozen by confusion when they heard a beautiful voice that came
from nowhere. Then they all jumped back when they found a blue-haired
beauty standing a little apart from the man.
Nodoka blinked. She had no idea where this woman appeared from. The woman
was standing a few feet away from her, where she was sure that there wasn't
anything a moment ago. She also noted something else.
'Wait?! Where did Sasami-chan go!?'
While Nodoka didn't know, Tenchi did. He also knew the name of the woman.
"Tsunami!!"
His shout made Nodoka to snap her eyes open. She now dumbly stared at the
woman before her, totally forgetting about the child. Nodoka KNEW that
name.
Her mouth gaped open as she watched the woman slowly walking up to the man.
'It can't be......'
"Hey!! What's she doing there?!?"
"How should I know?! How about Sasami?! Why is Tsunami awake instead of
Sasami?!"
Other than two loud female voices, there was absolute quite among the
audience.
Katsuhito was stunned, to say the least. He didn't expect to see the
goddess of Jurai herself to appear there. This was also true with Kiyone,
who had only heard about Tsunami, but never thought she would see the real
one, the mother of all Jurai trees, the source of the greatest power in the
universe...
Nobuyuki was shocked too, but not because of Tsunami. His glasses was all
boggled up from seeing all those pretty ladies, some in very skimpy outfits
too!
Mihoshi? She had no idea what was going on. No. She had no idea about
anything. She just watched the screen because everyone else was doing the
same thing. Only thing that came up in her head was how nice Tsunami looked
today.
Ryo-ohki blinked. She didn't understand why everyone was all so quiet.
In case of Washu, things were a little different. First of all, her full
attention was on the guy in cape, not Tsunami. She already had guessed that
the appearance of the goddess was due to this man, and she could fully
understand Tsunami's reason. Washu herself was very interested in him the
moment he came up in the screen. While the earth satellite's equipment
didn't provide enough data, it didn't take much for her to see that the man
was very powerful. If the large crater in front of the man was any
indication, he might be the one for whom Washu had been looking.
The greatest scientist in the universe grinned.
'This ought to be very interesting...'
Tsunami now stood only a few steps away from the man. Ever since she had
appeared, the man's widened eyes had been fully focused on her. She could
see the shock in his eyes, but no fear. This could mean a good thing, or a
very bad thing.
'It could mean either that he is not my enemy, or he is not afraid of me. I
doubt he has any dark motive against me, at least. After all, I can see in
his eyes that there are so... many... HEARTS?!?!'
Clang!
Suddenly the man clasped his hands together, dropping the sword in the
process. He paid no attention to it though, as he yelled out loudly.
"LOVELY!!"
'Eh?'
Before the word of bewilderment left Tsunami's mind, she saw the man
disappearing in the blink of eyes, just to re-appear right in front of her
face.
"Eh?"
The man grabbed her hands and stared right at Tsunami's eyes. Then he spoke
in very gentle voice.
"What is your name, beautiful goddess?"
"Eh? Um, it's Tsunami..."
"Tsunami! Oh how fitting it is. Your visage burst into my heart! My eyes
are blinded by your radiance, and my mind has surrendered to my burning love
for you! I thank the sun for shining on your face so that I may see a piece
of magnificance more clearly. I thank the ground for letting me stand here
in your presence. It is truly work of the fates that allowed me to have
such a luck."
"Eh?"
Tsunami was a goddess, and had lived for tens of thousands of years. But
she had never experienced anything like this. She had absolutely no idea
what was going on.
"Ah! Be still, my heart! It's burning with passion and love, you see? I
cannot seem to stop it. Perhaps you can help... if you know what I mean..."
"Huh?"
Not giving the confused goddess any time to recover, the man slowly lifted
her chin with his hand. Tsunami felt her heart stop for a moment, as the
man quietly gazed through her eyes.
"Beautiful eyes, refined face, red healthy lips! Such a lovely figure has
been on this earth, and I hadn't known about it. What a pity! What a
tragedy!"
"Eh?"
"I have been truly blessed by your presence before me. I would have not
expected to see such a fine example of exceptional beauty today. You truly
are a goddess, by your loveliness alone."
"Huh?"
"Oh, it's so cruel, you fate! Why didn't you let our paths cross sooner?
All those wasted times, all those precious moments, which we could spent
together in joy and happiness! Ah but 'tis not late yet. We can still
catch up, can't we?"
"Eh?"
"I see you do not object. I am so glad. Maybe you got some free time
tonight. Care for a quiet romantic dinner with me, hmm?"
"Huh?"
Tsunami was a goddess, but she was also a woman. While she had no idea what
was going on, she could still feel the effects of the man's words.
'Why do I feel so warm? What is happening to me? And why are my cheeks
so... hot?'
"Bwahahahahaha!! This is classic!"
"Oh my goodness! Is she blushing?"
Ryoko was having the laugh of her life, while Ayeka just giggled with
bewilderment. They wouldn't have believed if they heard about it, but there
she stood, on the screen. The mighty goddess had a full blush on her face.
It was a very funny moment for those two.
Katsuhito had a BIG bead of sweat on back of his head. He had to admit
though. The man was GOOD. He was making the GODDESS blush like a school
girl.
'He is really, really GOOD.'
Kiyone just kept blinking. She never imagined to see such a scene. Who
could possibly think that red-faced woman was the strongest force in the
universe?
'I don't think I can ever get that image out of my head...'
Nobuyuki was busily scribbling down the every word the man had said.
'These might come in handy later.'
Mihoshi was now paying full attention on the screen.
'Wow! I didn't know we were watching a drama! Who would have thought
Tsunami would be on a TV show?'
Ryo-ohki blinked. She didn't understand what was going on. From her link
with Ryoko, she was having this urge to laugh out. But from Washu...
The greatest genius had become the hardest statue. Washu was stunned with
disappointment and amazement. The man was displaying his power as she
expected, but it was a different kind of power. The result of the display
also caught her off guard. Absentmindedly, she made an entry to her mental
note.
'I GOT to get that guy into my lab...'
Currently the heir of Jurai couldn't speak. No wonder, especially with his
lower jaw on the pavement. Tsunami, a goddess, no, THE goddess of the
mighty Jurai power was being man-handled by this guy in a cape. He didn't
know whether to feel jealous or to feel amazed.
Nodoka was also shocked. She KNEW who Tsunami was, but the goddess right
now did NOT fit into the image in her mind. Instead of one with power and
love, there was a shy woman with full blush on her face. Only other thing
that came up in her mind was...
'What a manly man! I wish Ranma would be more like that...'
She would have seen the more of the goddess' embarassment, if it wasn't for
the interuption by a certain short-haired and hot-headed Senshi.
Uranus was not happy. She just saw her sword being thrown out on the
ground. HER sword, which he took WITHOUT her permission. No matter who
this guy was, she would make him pay. With anger clear on her voice, she
yelled. "Hey, you jackass!! Don't you know how to treat other's
propreties?!"
The man blinked for a while, and turned to his eyes to Uranus. Then the
recognition hit his face, then much to Uranus' confusion, it turned into a
smile. Then the man let go of the hands of the now blushing, dazed
blue-haired woman, grabbed the sword, and rushed to Uranus' side.
"Huh?"
Before the word left her mouth, Uranus found herself face-to-face with the
man.
"Ah, forgive my rudeness, Miss. I didn't wish to get on your bad side.
Here's your sword, Miss...?"
"Um, Uranus..."
"Uranus! Oh I've learned the names of not one, but TWO beauties. Today is
a lucky day, indeed. Again, I thank you for your generosity. Without your
aid, I couldn't have done it."
"Wait a minute! I didn't..."
"Oh, no disrespect, Miss Uranus. I've seen your skillful swordplay, which I
must say, it was very fine. But I couldn't possibly watch a lady stain her
own hands with blood of such lowly things as those. I was merely doing what
I thought was right. No need to thank me, really."
"Who said I..."
"Ah, you're right! If you wished to thank me, what am I to stop you? It is
your will to do whatever you want, isn't it right, Miss?"
"Um, yes..."
"So whether to thank me or not is up to your own decision, isnt' it?"
"I guess so..."
"Then go ahead. Thank me. It's your wish, after all."
"Eh, okay... thank you... WAIT A MINUTE!!"
But Uranus lost her chance to speak, as the man grabbed her shoulder and
leveled his gaze to her eyes. Looking right deep into her eyes, he spoke
again.
"Now that's out of our hair, why don't we get to know each other better,
hmm? After all, one is always wise to make more friends. Of course, if our
hearts are on the right path, we could go for something BEYOND..."
The seductive tone was faint but clear. While Uranus already had her heart
for someone else, she couldn't help but feel very flattered and somewhat
attracted to the man's voice. Unfortunately for her, Neptune didn't miss
her slight blush.
"What are you doing?!"
"Eh?"
That was the only thing Uranus could say to Neptune though, even when
Neptune angrily stepped in between the man and her partner. Sailor Neptune,
very annoyed at this, yelled at the source of this problem, the man in cape.
"And you!! Stay away from her!!!"
"Huh? What's wrong, Miss? I was just getting acquainted with your
friend..."
"I DO NOT want YOU to get ACQUAINTED with MY FRIEND!!"
"Huh? And why is that...?"
Suddenly his eyes widened with realization. But soon it turned into one of
the sympathetic glance, which confused Neptune. She was startled by his
hands which suddenly grabbed her own though.
"Aaack! What are you..."
"Oh, you poor thing! You must be one of THOSE ladies, huh?"
"Wha, what are you..."
"Ah, I know, I know. No need to explain. I understand. You didn't find a
right man, but rather a right woman, did you not?"
"Um, that is..."
"How sad!! Not meeting a man who could satisfy your need! Not
experienceing the wonders of love with a fairer sex! Driven away from male
population due to their lack of a fine specimen!"
"Huh?"
"But don't worry! I'm here!! I'll show you something more! I'll show you
what you've been missing! This is my duty as a man to guide a beautiful
woman such as you to the path of a wonderful love! You might've had to rely
on your fellow gender, but no longer! I, the best guy you'll ever lay your
eyes on, will show you the way!! Then, you may find the true love you've
been seeking for."
"Huh?"
"How could I not? This is YOU we're talking about! Such a beautiful hair
that flows like the gentle ocean. Deep blue eyes that cools one down with
clarity. Not to mention marblelike skin that is as soft as new-born baby...
Everything that you are, my lady, is a wonder for the mankind. If I do
not teach you the love of a man, every men on the earth will hate me for
it."
"Huh?"
Neptune just stood there, bewildered. But she was also dangerously getting
into the man's words. She had no idea what this man was saying, but somehow
it sounded very convincing in her ears...
Fortunately for her, Uranus got her sense back in time to rescue Neptune.
"YOU!! Stay away! Neptune!! Get a hold of yourself!"
"Huh? Oh, um, eh..."
The man added. "Her name is Uranus."
"Oh yeah! That's it!! Uranus!! I knew that. Ho-ho-ho..." Neptune
quickly spoke and laughed nervously. But she didn't have to look at Uranuss
face to know that it didn't look all that convincing.
But the man went on, now putting his arms around both Uranus and Neptune.
"No need to be jealous, Miss Uranus. I'm a man enough for both of you! I
wish to be a part of your life, and I wish you two to be a part of mine.
Three of us can spend some QUALITY time together, don't you think?"
Uranus was back to herself though, and she swatted his arm away hard,
yelling, "I DON'T want you to be in my life, and I certainly DON'T want to
be in yours!!"
The man stared at Uranus for a while, then shrugged his shoulder. He turned
to Neptune and asked.
"And you, Miss Neptune?"
Much to Uranus' horror, Neptune only staggered and mumbled. "Ah, well, that
is..."
"NEPTUNE!!"
"Well it's not like he is a bad person..."
Uranus smacked her forehead. This can't be happening. She really didn't
like this guy one bit.
Someone else also didn't.
Part 1 ends.
