The disclaimer, practically every character here is NOT mine. They all
belong to their respective company. I am using a lot of them, so I can't
list them all. Beside, I am gonna add more series to the story later on.
Don't sue me. You won't get a penny out of me. Trust me, you won't. For
others, there are SOME characters I made up, but who cares? I don't.

Chapter 5.
< What a guy! A man who swept them off their feet! >
Part 3
While it was a bit fun to watch the man flirt with the others, Saturn was
not paying full attention to the surrounding. She wanted to go and look for
Saotome-san. She was really concerned about him now that the monsters were
gone. Her duty as Sailor Saturn had ended, and her responsibility as Tomoe
Hotaru had begun. She would have to find Saotome-san and get him some
medical help. Seeing her friends either occupied or furious at the man, she
tried to leave the scene quietly to turn back to her normal self.
But before she could leave the scene, she was stopped by the man in cape,
who now stood before her.
"You okay, kid?"
"Eh? Um, I am fine..."
"That's good. You ain't hurt, are you?"
"Um, no......"
"Good, good." With a smile, the man quietly stood, gazing at her with kind,
gentle eyes.
"?"
Saturn was confused. What did this man want with her?
However, when she saw the man's eyes, she found herself frozen, not by fear
but by something that she couldn't recall. Something comfortable, something
warm, and something that she missed... The man was not trying to flirt with
her, at least she felt so. But still... she felt very comportable and happy
in his presence. It was very... homey.
But her guardians didn't feel the same.
"You!! Stay away from her!!" Uranus pointed her sword towards the man, and
spoke in a dangerous tone.
"Yeah!! Who the hell are you, anyway?" asked Neptune, following her
partner.
"Huh? My name?"
"YES!! TELL US YOUR NAME!!" The Inners eagerly joined in the questioning.
But annoyingly for the Outers, it was clear that the Inners, excluding
Mercury who was still stood at the corner blushing badly, wanted the name
for some other reason. Well, at least they weren't getting in their way.
"Hmm, my name? Well, let's see... What should I call myself?" The man
contemplated, much to others' confusion.
Upset Uranus tapped her foot and angrily asked again. "Why do you need to
ask that question to yourself!? Just tell me your name!!"
"Well, I can't think of something right now. Just call me the Knight."
A vein popped on Uranus's head, as she shook her fist at him and yelled. "I
asked you WHO you are, not WHAT you are!! I don't care if you are a knight
or a prince!!"
"Well, it would be really cool if he was a real prince... sorry." Sailor
Jupiter cringed under Uranus' glare and muttered.
But heedless to Uranus' screaming, the man continued on.
"No, no. You misunderstand. I ain't a knight. I'm THE Knight."
"What's the freaking difference!?!?!"
"Oh, there's lots of difference, Miss Uranus. For instance, a normal
so-called 'knight' is NOT as good looking as me. And I'm MUCH MUCH more
powerful and smarter than them, not to mention very graceful and civilized."
"Why you egotistic, arrogant, obnoxious..."
"Hey, what can I say? Those are the facts. I can't lie to the pretty
ladies, can I?" The 'Knight,' as he called himself, grinned faintly at
seeing Uranus having another fit. Mercury took a notice of it though.
'He seems to enjoy teasing her... but he was flirting with her only moments
ago! Is he... doing this intentionally? Now that I think about it... he
had been dodging our question so far... in fact, none of us hadn't been able
to ask him anything yet! I wonder...'
While Mercury contemplated on the possibility of her suspicion, the Knight
had moved towards the Tendo family...
Back in Washu's lab, the screen moved with the Knight, revealing the family
who had been with Tenchi. When he saw a very familar face, Katsuhito spoke
with bewilderment.
"No-chan!? What's she doing there?!?"
"No-chan? Wait a sec. Isn't she Achika's sister? What's she doing there?"
"I have no idea, Nobuyuki... huh?"
Suddenly the priest found himself face-to-face with the greatest genius in
the universe, who had a glimmering look on her eyes. "You mean there is
someone OTHER than Tenchi-dono who had inherited the Juraian Royal Blood?"
Before he could reply, two more faces popped up right next to Washu.
"Wow, so Tenchi has other relatives? How come you didn't tell us?"
"My goodness! Yosho-niisama! How could you hide something like that from
me?"
"Um, it didn't occured to me before... Eheheheh..." Nervously Katsuhito
began to edge away from the demanding faces of three most dangerous females
in the house.
"What do you mean "didn't occur?!" You should have made it OCCUR in your
mind!"
"Wha, what kind of logic is that, Washu? I must agree though. I ain't all
that happy about you hiding something like this about Tenchi from me,
grandpa."
"I don't like it, but I have to say Ryoko is right, onnisama! This is a
family matter. How could you hide that from your OWN sister?"
"Well, that is, um..." Katsuhito backed away until his back was against the
wall. There was no where to go. He sweatdropped big time as he watched the
three angry faces slowly advanced towards him.
Nobuyuki, on the other hand, had already fled the lab. He was already very
nervous with the fact that Washu was hacking into the CIA. He definitely
did not want to get involved with this.
"What's going on over there, Kiyone?"
"I don't know, Mihoshi. But this looks more interesting."
"Myah, myah!"
By now everyone was paying attention on the sweating old priest. In other
words, no one was watching the screen any more......
"Oh, and who is this unearthly beauty?"
"My name is Minagi." Minagi cooly answered the man. She had been prepared
for this. It wasn't very hard to do, since she had been watching every
action of this 'the Knight' so far. While she herself did not have much
experience with men, it didn't take much intelligence to realize what this
man had been doing.
But Minagi did not want a compliment. She wanted a challenge. Her wish to
be a powerful warrior was her master, Yakage's wish. Yakage lost his own
life in the process of creating a strongest sword for Minagi. While her
master was gone now, she was determined to carry on his wish.
Minagi slowly took her battle stance. This guy was the strongest opponent
that she had met so far. It was the perfect chance to test her combat
skill. She was not about to be swept away by his sweet talk.
The Knight held up his hands protectively. "Hey, hey, lady. I ain't gonna
fight you. In act, I do not wish to fight at all."
"I don't care."
"Huh?"
"I haven't had a decent fight for a long time. You seem like a worthy
opponent. I will not let this oppotunity waste away. Get out your sword,
Mr. Knight." Minagi clearly made her point as she summoned her sword.
"Hmm..."
The man put a hand on his chin, calmly observing her. Minagi tensed up when
he slowly lowered his hands. Then he shrugged his shoulders and spoke.
"Okay, you win." After that, he turned around and started to walk away.
"Eh?"
Minagi dumbly stared at the retreating back of the Knight for a while, but
soon collected her mind and ran after him. She grabbed one of his shoulder,
shouting. "Where do you think you are going... eh?"
Next thing she knew, she was being flipped up in the air, before crashing
down towards the ground. Instintively she closed her eyes, bracing for the
impact. It never came, as she was caught just before she hit the ground.
"Huh?"
Minagi opened her eyes and blinked. She found herself being held by an arm,
which belonged to the Knight, who had a smug grin on his face. "Gotcha."
A rather bad blush came up to her face as she felt mocked. Out of anger she
swung her sword at the Knight, who disappeared before it made contact.
Unfortunately, his arm, which had been holding her up, also disappeared.
"Eeeep!"
Minagi shut her eyes, as she again fell towards the ground, forgetting that
she could actually fly. But again, something reached out to her neck,
preventing the fall. She slowly opened her eyes, and looked up to the
another grinning face of the Knight, who had one of his foot supporting her
neck.
"Le, let go!"
"You sure, Miss? It might hurt."
"I said let go!"
But the Knight smirked at her angry response. All of sudden, he gave a
little jerk on his foot, giving Minagi's body a boost up. Then he put one
of his arm around her, as soon as she stood straight up by the boost, and
held her close to his body.
"Let, let go of me!"
Minagi frantically tried to push him away, and was ready to slap him. But
the Knight casually blocked her arm, then gently cupped her chin. Before
she could say anything, he leaned on and gave her a quick peck on her
forehead.
"!!"
It was a brief and gently action, but it completely froze her whole body.
Her widened eyes now only stared into the eyes of the man before her. Even
anger couldn't be felt, as her heart was filling up with embarassment, and
something that she had never felt before. Also, nothing was registering in
her mind, except a very short comment made from the brief observation.
'What a deep grey eyes......'
Seeing her totally stiff in his arms, the man smirked. Then he turned away
from her, and walked away, leaving Minagi barely standing in her shaking
legs...
"My, my. A mature woman who've still kept the beauty from her virginhood.
I bow before you, my lady."
Nodoka was a bit startled to find 'the Knight' speaking to her. But she
took her composure fast and politely answered back.
"My, thank you, kind sir. I appreciate it. Being 'married' hasn't taken a
lot out of me yet."
The Knight smiled at Nodoka's subtle yet clear rejection of his advance.
"You honor me. I'm just awed by your grace. You have my upmost respect."
"Why, thanks." Nodoka also smiled, accepting the Knight's 'indicated'
apology. It seemed that he was not a bad person. Any less man would have
pegged her further more, but he knew when to back off and give a woman some
breathing space.
But Saotome Genma wasn't as smart as his wife.
"You! Stay away from my wife!!"
"Dear! Don't be rude to this kind young man."
The Knight smirked, and turned away from Nodoka. While it was clear that he
wasn't threatened by Genma, he didn't seem to be bothered by the fact that
it might look that way. He just walked away, until he stood before another
target.
This time it was Akane.
"Hello there, young Miss. How are you doing?"
"Huh?" Akane blinked. She didn't know what this man wanted from her. Her
mind had been occupied with her concern about Ranma that she had not
acknowledged her surrounding. She was actually a little surprised to find
the caped man right in front of her.
Before the Knight could say anything further, Genma stepped inbetween the
Knight and Akane.
"Hold it right there! Akane already has a fiancee!!"
Soun also chimed in, nodding furiously to the remark of his friend.
"Yes, that's right! If you are going to flirt, do it with my other
daughters!"
"Oh my."
"Daddy!"
The Knight blinked for a while, but soon his face turned into a wide grin as
he regarded the other Tendo daughters. "My pleasure."
"Um, that didn't come out right..." Soun sweatdropped when he realized what
he had just said.
"Oh father."
"You are SO dead when we get home, daddy."
The patiarch of Tendo family paled. He knew the consequences of making
Nabiki mad. He knew it TOO WELL. This was going to cost him. A LOT.
Fortunately for Soun, the Knight stopped in his steps and frowned a little.
"Damn. It's almost time... Oh well."
Then he turned to the crowd. "Well, I had my fun today. But like all the
good things, my presence gotta end here. Too bad, really. I mean, how
often can one guy meet so many pretty ladies, not to mention four
GODDESSES?"
Other than Skuld, who was still out of it, the rest of the goddesses present
noted the small emphasis on the word "GODDESSES." It didn't take long for
them to realize that this 'the Knight' guy had known about their identity.
This intrigued them even more. They couldn't let him leave before getting
some answers.
The Senshi were thinking the same thing, only that the Inners had OTHER
intentions added on it.
When he saw the women beginning to surround him, he smugly grinned. "Gee, I
knew I'm such a hunk, but I didn't know I was THIS popular. I understand
your disappointment, ladies, but I really got to go."
"Fine, you can go... after you answer some question." Uranus spoke with her
eyebrows creased at him. "If you don't, well, you better not have any other
plan today, because you ain't keeping it."
But the Knight didn't even flinch at her words, and said, "Well, well. A
bit forward, ain't it? Miss Uranus, I promise you. I'll give you some
PRIVATE moment with me later..."
"I DON'T WANT ANY PRIVATE MOMENT WITH YOU!!"
"I do... sorry." Sailor Venus hid behind Mercury as she was now under
Uranus' angry glare.
With a sly grin on his face, the Knight shrugged his shoulders and spoke.
"Ladies, ladies. Even if you wanted to, you can't possibly stop me."
Uranus took a step forward and asked in a threatening tone.
"Oh? Care to prove that?"
But the Knight didn't seem to be afraid, as he casually responded to her.
"Well, fine. You want proof? I'll show you proof. For instance, look up
there."
"?"
Everyone looked up to the sky when they heard his words. But they couldn't
find anything special up there. The sky was calm and blue, just the one
fitting for such a fine day.
Confused, Mercury put her head down towards the Knight with a question.
"What did you mean by that? There isn't anything there..."
Nor was he there. The Knight had disappeared.
She blinked. By now everyone had their eyes back on the spot where the
Knight used to stand a moment ago, and also blinked, not finding anything.
But Mercury found some letters written on the ground. She carefully stepped
up, and read them.
"'Gotcha, ladies. Bwahahahahahahaha...'" It was then when Mercury's face
turned beet red as she realized what had just happened.
"He tricked us!!" Sailor Venus shouted out loud with embarrassment.
"Worse than that, we FELL for it!!" Sailor Jupiter wanted to bang her head
on something. This was absolutely humiliating.
"Wait. There is more." Mercury calmed down and read some tiny letters
underneath.
"'P.S. : Miss Uranus, and Miss Neptune. I will teach the wonders of
heterosexuality later...'"
For a moment, only peaceful silence rested on the park.
But it was soon broken up by a loud, angry yell of a certain short-haired
Senshi.
"I'M GONNA KILL HIM!!!"
"So... let me get this straight. You couldn't collect any souls, nor kill
anyone. In fact, you were beaten by a bunch of girls and a strange man in
cape. Is that correct?"
"Ye.. yes, your majesty..."
Tromine was sweating badly. He was now on his knees before his superiors.
In front of him there were two men, one sitting on a high chair, and the
other standing beside him. The one on the chair was looking down on him
amused, while the standing one just silently stared at him.
"...bu, but if that bastard didn't show up I would have gotten rid of those
pests! Then I would have enough sacrifices to satisfy your need, sire!
Just... just give me one more chance!"
But the one on the throne just snickered. .
"...oh! Your majesty! There is one more thing! I have obtained some
information which you might find interesting!"
"Oh, reallly? And what is that?"
"...Serenity's daugher is alive..."
But his superior sneered at Tromine's words. "I have learned that not long
after I was unsealed. Not too much surprise in that."
"Actually, I've met her today. She was one of my opponents."
"!" Suddenly the temperature in the room dropped fast. Tromine shivered as
his boss now looked at him with such cold emotion clear on his face. He
felt like his heart would stop at any moment.
Fortunately his boss soon turned back to the original state. "And how did
you find this out?"
"Um, the man who had defeated me indicated it to me."
"Hmm? How could this man know about her?"
"I, I am not sure, but... he seemed to have known US before. He knew my
identity and my rank... and he seemed to know you also, sire."
"Is that so? Hmm... interesting..."
Tromine sighed with relief as his boss seemed to be really amused at the
news. 'If he is pleased, then I might be forgiven...'
But his expectation didn't live long, as his boss again opened his mouth.
"Well done, captain. For the reward, I will give a vacation... One that
does not end, EVER."
"Huh? But, but your majesty! I am still loyal to your...
AAAAAAAAAAHHHH!!!"
Tromine couldn't finish his words as he felt his life being drained out of
his body, painfully. His body was now surrounded by bright light, which
then disappeared into the hand of his boss. Tromine's eyes widened with
fear as he watched his soul slowly being absorbed away...
Soon only remain of the summoning captain was his empty uniform on the
ground.
The man standing by the throne had been silently watching the whole thing.
When Tromine no longer ceased to exist, however, he spoke to the one
sitting. "Are you sure it was wise, your majesty? We are not exactly
flowing with manpower."
"One such as him wouldn't make much of difference."
"......there are only me and HER left, your majesty. The rest are still
locked up in the seal. Being as it may, we cannot completely open it until
we get enough souls to be sacrificed..."
However, this bit of bad news didn't affect the sneer on the leader's face.
"We do not need many now. Only thing we need is that cursed blood of
Serenity."
"Oh?"
"Our 'source' informed us about the fate of the Moon Kingdom after we had
been sealed. If she is right, then the offspring of Serenity must have
Ginzuishou in possesion. If we acquire it, then we don't have to resort to
the dark magic that she had 'suggested.'"
"...I see. Then what should we do about... our source?"
"
*snicker* Leave her in her prison. She might come in handy later. How
often do one catch the high-class demon such as her? Her knowledge and
power could aid us well in our goal... volunteerly or not."
The man on the throne laughed out loud at his own words, while his
subordinate calmly nodded.
When the leader had finally quieted down, he looked at his quiet underling
and spoke. "Sadowine. Go and get me that brat. Oh, and since you are at
it, bring me those other lasses too. I might have some... need of them
later."
The man by the throne, one called Sadowine, bowed silently as he answered.
"As you wish, sire."
With the words still echoing in the air, Sadowine disappeared away from his
spot. Now only the silence left in the room. The boss kept his snicker on
his face even then. Slowly, he put his arms on the armrests and leaned back
on to his chair. Suddenly a sultry female voice broke the silence as two
lean arms appeared behind the throne and seductively wrapped themselves
around the man.
"Do you think he can handle them?"
The man didn't seem surprised, as he answered back with still sneering face.
"He better, if he knows what's good for him."
"Just because he's our general, doesn't mean he is capable of anything."
"This is not a matter of whether he is capable or not. It's all about what
I have ordered him to do. He has to obey every word of my command. How
much of it he can accomplish is up to him. If he can, he lives... a little
longer. If he can't... a pity."
Then the man raised one of his hands and tenderly grabbed the woman's hand,
which he gently kissed before he opened his mouth again. "Even if he
fails... I still have you. That's all I need. You can take care of them by
yourself, can't you? After all... you were the strongest among the Royal
Guard..."
The voice, which came from the darkness behind the throne, became more
seductive as it answered to him. "Of course. And I still am the strongest.
If you wish, I will personally bring you the head of Serenity's girl on a
plate, your highness... and my dear..."
The flame of the torch beside the throne flickered, as it was touched by the
coldness and cruelty of the voice, revealing a dark silhouette of a woman
behind the man's chair. In a brief moment, the light of the unstable flame
shined on her long, dark green hair...
Chapter 6 ends.
(1) If the CIA knew about this, they would have declined her offer. They
wouldn't trust one of their finest technology to a 12-years old looking
person who claimed herself as the greatest genius in the universe, nor they
would trust the glimmering look in her eyes...
Finally! Chapter 6... Boy this was hard! I am NOT a womanizer, so coming
up with those lines were really really hard. Not that they are jewels, mind
you. Even 'I' wouldn't use those lines!! Anyway, sorry about the delay.
But expect chapter 7 REALLY soon! I promise!
