I wouldn't go so far as to say an idiot... I just found this explanation a
little.... off.
There are many other ways to ID a person's body. As pointed out prosthetics
is but one.
However Leon's statement suggests that there wasn't enough left to fill a
cremation urn. In that kind of accident there would have been at least some
sort of remains left, even if they were unable to be identified visually.
Also, in order to have a head -on collision, the car running the red light
would have to be in Priss's lane. The mutual explosion is very bizarre in
itself. While being unable to reach Priss is evidence that she might be dead,
the discrepancies in the collision suggest that the circumstances under
which she died have been falsified and she was actually murdered. Given
that Sylia has a justified paranoid streak...
