Hmm, has anyone ever done a fic where Genma deliberately took Ranma
to Jusenkyo for this reason?
Um, I think it has been done a couple of times. Anyway, maybe Genma was
searching for the legendary Spring of Drowned Brilliant Cyberneticist?
Interesting choice of animal. Of course when people swear to have seen him
he can deny it and say he isn't there and that they must be drunk, since
everyone knows that's the only time you see pink elephants.
Pink elephants are the size of small birds and live in the shadows
among the rafters of old English pubs and the like. They fly using
their ears and their trunks are well designed to reach into tall beer
glasses. Their diet mostly consists of peanuts for protien and alcohol
for energy, although they will flinch any bar snack in reach when
you're not looking.
They are very shy creatures and not very good fighters, but are
extremely fast due to their high energy intake. They are a
very endangered species, so encourage your local council to build more
quiet, old-style pubs to preserve their habitat.

Yes, and aside from that, Genma's a small pink elephant for the purpose
of the story. However, he's not going to stay one for long. :)
I've thought about the 'monster of the week' thing many magical girl
shows have, and wondered (yes, it's dangerous, especially in my case).
What if there was such a thing like the 'curse of the week'?
I guess this means there's gonna be lots of Genma bashing in the
story...
