well I wanted to thank everyone that sent me advice on my work I hope I have corrected some of those errors that lead to difficulty in reading the first part. It was written quite a while ago and I am finding it difficult to reproduce in further parts so I will just send out this draft of part 2. Comments follow the story.

The basis for this faniction, Ranma 1/2 is the creation and property of Rumiko Takahashi.

The Master's Revenge: A Joining of the Schools
pt.2

Aproximately four years ago, a twelve year-old Ranma and his master, short midget of a man, were entering Nerima district, Tokyo.  Ranma my boy. How would you like to be my heir?

Master? Ranma looked completely overwhelmed.  But isnt my Father your Heir?

The anger at even mentioning his own father is clearly evident to Happosai, who snickers and replies,  Ranma, YOU are to be my heir. Will you take up the responsibilities of the Founding School of Anything Goes Martial Arts or not?

Ranmas face was fraught with the workings of his mind.  Master, I will.

Good boy. We will soon be at your mothers house but first You need to prove yourself worthy of your place.

What do I do master?

Happosais glee was quite evident now. Ranma I have been teaching you in the hopes that you would defeat one of my former students. He trained with your father and he is your only obstacle. If you can beat him you are my unquestioned heir. They both walked on through the streets. Happosai finally stopped them in front of a dojo.

The Tendou Dojo of Anything Goes martial Arts Ranma carefully read out loud. Happosai casually knocked on the front gate. A young girl answered the door...

In the present, Ranma sat with everyone at the table and continued to tell of how he had become Master of the Tendo School, "The conditions of the match were to be that the victor became heir to the founding school and master of of the Tendo school of Anything Goes Martial arts. Tendo-SAN, here agreed and lost to me, mother. Father accepted a similar match in which the victor was named the master of the Saotome school and the heir to the founding school." An icy aura seemed to surround Ranma for a moment as he spared Genma a cold glance. "After a very unorthodox battle, he also failed to defeat me. Does that not mean that the schools have been united?"

Nodoka had known her son held Genma's catfist training against him, but his newfound hate and rage for his father was a great shock. 'Even Happosai would not let him stay so angry....' her thought was cut off as she realized that Master Happosai was not with her husband and son.
The room became dead quiet as Ranma finished his explaination. His question to her she found was more properly one Happosai should answer and so she responded, "It seems to be correct, but where is the master? Should this not be something he would determine?"

The look of horror that spread over Ranma's face was chilling. He did not make any motion to speak and it was Genma who started to speak, "The Master did not survive an accident in chi-..."

Soun Tendo had jumped up instantly, latching onto a quivering Genma and celebrating, when both he and Genma found themselves enmbedded into a wall. Ranma lowered his foot after the kick he had given them. Clenching his fists tightly, he spoke out in a low dangerous voice, "Never cheer about his dying around me again" His eyes focused in on Genma becoming slits as he continued," I believe I should explain exactly how you lost to me Father." Ranma turned and took a seat at the table.

Akane glowered for a moment, but decided not attack Ranma as the idea of celebrating someone's death was horrid to her and she could not understand what her father had been thinking. She was the first to sit at the table, followed by her sisters and Nodoka. Genma and Soun decided to listen at a distance in case Ranma decided they needed more object lessons. Akane stared at Ranma deciding that even if he was a jerk, this master of his must have meant a great deal to him. She quelched that line of thought as it reminded her of the mother she had lost and merely listened to Ranma.

Nodoka had sat beside her son hoping to comfort him at least in her closeness as he began to explain. "The cursed training grounds of Jusenkyo were once used to settle arguments without resorting to bloodshed. My master brought us there to have our match. Father was told that he would be cursed if he fell into a spring and that we were supposed to fight upon the bamboo polls that stick out of the springs until one of us fell and lost. I kicked father into a pool first and was heading to the edge of the springs when father as a Panda booted me into a pool." Ranma bowed his head low and continued in a weak rasp of voice, "I got a gulp of water in my lungs and was drowning. That's when Master Happosai dove in and pulled me out. His.. his heart was not as strong as it used to be and his new female body was too much for it. His last words were for me to not be forced into my Father's agreement with Tendo-san and to make sure everyone knew I was his rightful heir." Before anyone could comment Ranma turned to his mother and spoke, "I'll do what you say mom, but I have to folow Happosai's request." The last was more like a question then a statement.

Nodoka had listened to her son's story intently. The more she heard, the more she was certain that her and her husband were in need of a talk, but first this fiance matter needed to be taken care of first.
In her most formal tone she spoke, "Ranma, why don't you and the girls go out to the dojo for a little while so that we adults can discuss these matters." Ranma obeyed instantly, Akane, Nabiki and reluctantly, Kasumi followed after him.

I'll prolly add some more to this part but I'm not so sure.. maybe a lil more participation by the properly gawking tendo sisters

concerning the way in which ranma became master of the tendo school, I have always looked upon it as being that happosai allowed the tendo and saotome schools to be after all he founded the school, aparently. also, I feel that it would be about on par for genma and soun to accept such a challenge.

anyways I hope to get some c&c back for this since I prolly left quite a few errors in it and the title I have, if taken in full, is somewhat okay I hope.
