This was done on the Simpsons, IIRC.

And if not there, then on _Married with Children_. (Sam Kinnison played the

angel, and Al was so infuriated at the idea that he resumed his old life just

for the satisfaction of bringing everyone else down.)

The same thing's also been done with Ranma, by Cindy Toler -- before either one

of the above TV shows came out, if I'm not mistaken.
