I hate conforming to trends, but like many other people, I'm going to
post a webpage URL and a question or two before I meant to. (In my
case, I was going to wait until I had finished revising everything to my
satisfaction..)
I was intending to ask in a few weeks how popular Star Trek/Anime
fusions would be, and if I should bother posting my fanfic to the list.
I've been so hesitant, being on this list for about two years now (under
several different email addresses). However, I'll just post a URL to
said fanfic.
The nature of the stuff that my co-author and I have written is equally
balanced anime and Trek starring our original characters...with many
different animes and all four Star Trek series (and sometimes non-Trek
fusion type stuff). The novels started out as purely Trek and sci-fi,
but as both me and my co-writer were introduced to more anime (thanks to
Karaohki -- love you oneechan! :) storylines took a distinctive turn
with more anime crossovers/fusions (I've even crossed over Karaohki's
Breaking Free to a point :) and written in a more of an anime style
(facefaulting, pratfalls, being serious and silly at the same time,
etc.).
The url is http://calypso.spaceports.com/~lusha/ -- Lusha's Domain. Be
forewarned -- there are a few pop-up ads, but I'm in the process of
moving the page because of this
(http://members.nbci.com/superakane/lusha/ should be functional in the
next 48 hours). If the page doesn't work, email me, and we can work
something out.
I'd still like some input on what everyone thinks of such crossovers --
private replies of course...
And please, PLEASE rethink putting up a backup list on the
Yahoo!Egroups. They claim ownership to everything. Though I know the
list will be back up eventually...

a mirc proggy since she got a new computer
and who also promises to start on some completely Ranma fanfic once she
finishes ALL of the manga..
