Wow, I've never seen Meitantei Conan fanfiction before.  I don't know the series very well--I've never even glanced at the manga--but I've seen a couple of episodes.  All in Japanese, though, and it's definitely the kind of show where understanding what they're saying is pretty important.  An odd show, however, and you capture some of that very well: a kid aimed at a young audience with a primary-school kid (well, in age, anyway) as the main character, based around murders that are often very brutal--and bloody.

I can't really offer any constructive C&C for it, and wasn't going to read past the opening, but to my surprise it drew me in and I read the whole thing.  Well done!  Enough information is fed in through the sides as well to keep those who've never seen the show (or manga) informed of the series' past--without stopping the story for a lengthy bit of exposition.

I do think I saw the anime-version of the episode you refer to--when he returns to his adult form, even if only briefly.  Was that other girl--the one who also got shrunk down to his age, who I think used to be his enemy--around by that time?
