Yayyy!  It's more!

I enjoyed the cameos, mostly ... but I don't always understand them
For example, why were Makoto and Ifurita leaving?  I'd have thought
Ifurita would be able to make short work of the reavers, and if so I
don't see why Makoto would want to abandon the rest of the world.

Yeah, that point -- and some of the others -- could probably use more clarification. I was really worried that the sheer number of cameos involved would turn people off to the series, but the focus of the story (I hope) remains on Ranma 1/2 and Tenchi Muyo!.

Genma's death sequence was nicely done.  Far too many authors show him
as a fat buffoon (a quick glance at the manga shows that he is not, in
fact, particularly fat) and forget that he's a superb martial artist in
his own right, if not quite up to the standard of others in the series.
(That he's something of an idiot, on the other hand, I won't deny. ^_^)

I always thought that Genma was a very versatile character, insofar as he can't be a total idiot... he did develop two whole schools of martial arts. Far from perfect, yes, but he can be played in so many different ways than just 'mindless bufoon'.

As before, I look forward to more of this.

Thanks! This bit of feedback just made my day. ;)

might take a bit of a break to work on RI some more, but I'll keep at this one.

Cheers,
Angus
