This wasn't the main point of the story, but I've had several
people send me comments on why hot water can freeze first and
just like most of the research done none of the solution are
the same.

I replied privately with my sources to  several people but
enough have asked I thought I'd post the main source I used, it
has pointers to a large number of sources as well.

I also put it in the updated spamfic, but some seemed to have
not noticed it, so I thought I'd put it on the FFML seperate.

The trouble with the above and all the other solutions (there
are at  least 3 major) is when you rigorously test them they
seem to not be complete solutions.

What appears to have happened is most engineers and
thermodynamics experts have their own pet solution and tend to
ignore all the results that don't support that.

That's why Washu was in such bad shape when Tenchi finally
worked up the nerve to check on her. Every theory was falling
apart when she performed the test enough times their was always
a slight flaw in every theory she set up and tested.

It was removed, but I was going to add insult to injury and have
a scene with Washu finally discovering just what was going on
with the hot water only to discover that another scientist had
published the same solution 3 days before.
