Is there some sort of tag or request needed on a fic before it will be 
reviewed?  I didn't see one in the FAQ, but as several other fics have been 
C&C'd in the mean time, ones posted after CotB, I need to know if I've 
missed something.  I am currently working on a rewrite of Ranma 1/2 The 
Mandarin and had planned to post the revision for review and critique, so if 
there is something I need to put at the front of a post to let everyone know 
a review is wanted, please let Jenny and I know.

Nah, mainly people just C&C works that they read, if they think that
they have something to say about it.

I didn't bother reading Curse of the Banshee. Here's why:
It's a Sailor Moon/Jackie Chan Adventures/Card Captor Sakura
crossover.
The only knowledge of SM that I have comes from reading Ranma/SM
crossovers.
The only knowledge of JCA that I have comes from looking at the back
of the cover for one of the videos in WalMart.
The only knowledge of CCS that I have comes from seeing a bit of
merchandise from it out of the corner of my eye in Suncoast.

I generally don't read fics that will have me completely lost.

If the series isn't one that I'm at least somewhat familiar with, or
if it isn't written by an author who I know to be pretty good at
producing quality work, I won't bother. So I didn't.

I can't speak for everyone, of course, but that's why I didn't read
the fic, and why I didn't C&C.
