Wow. Don't strain yourself, Mr. Sommer. :p
He fell silent, not really wanting to think about it.
Me either. :)
Well, I was going to ask, "Can you blame him?" but I guess you can't.
He nodded, the nightmare of ice and snow still playing in his own
memory. "Yes," he said slowly. "But I still feel that I should have been
more responsible."

Probably
Likely. :)
The older man's eyes took in the doctor, his clothing travel-worn
and threadbare, and his daughter. Her own clothing was little better,
and she carried a child already. Asking him for permission was somewhat
moot, at that point.
It was that obvious by then, eh?
They walked. Ranma made the trip in two weeks, it took Tofu and
Nabiki a good bit longer.
His daughter winced suddenly, one hand dropping to her abdomen, as
she swallowed. "Your timing is priceless," she said, leaning heavily
against the doctor. "Call an ambulance?"
Heh
^_^;;
"It
impinges on us, and we must be prepared to make our move. We have no
great desire to be crushed by things we never see coming."
Few do.
Good point.
He considered for a long moment, then rubbed his chin thoughtfully.
"Unless you can find a way to make money off of this, I'm afraid not."
Well, he did leave her an out.
As he should.
"And, uh... it's fey. But people don't need to know that, because
there's a scientific reason backing the mythical one."
Heh. As long as there is that.
Ranko and Tofu went over that in part three, didn't they?
"I'm very busy. Just... do what you think is necessary." Approval.
Nice touch, with only using one word at the end of the sentences. Approval.
^_^
Ah, I'm glad it worked. Relief. ;)
"He was dating Shampoo, right?"
Tofu: Only when she had something he wanted. He was kind of a prostitute in
that respect.
Ranko: This isn't exactly condusive towards me wanting to rescue him
from the ice.
"Well then, did he piss her off so much that she became a lesbian?
Is that why she married a woman?"
Hehehe. Cute.
Nice little work as well, filling in some more gaps in small ways.
Glad it worked.
