         Still have my original first printing paperback copy of
that wonderfully demented book, Mac, with a copyright date of
1969. The adventures of Frito Bugger, young Spam Gangree, and
their two idiotic accomplices, Moxie and Pepsi Dingleberry will
ring down through the Ages as they attempt to destroy the Evil
Power of Microsoft... err.. the Ring. (Sorry about the typo. ^_^)

         "This Ring, no other, is made by the elves,
          Who'd pawn their own mother to grab it themselves.
          Ruler of creeper, mortal and scallop,
          This is a sleeper that packs quite a wallop.
          The Power Almighty rests in this Lone Ring.

         Hmm.. you know, that would make an excellent basis
for a REALLY demented fanfic. Ranma Saotome, Lina Inverse,
Nene Romanova, and other famous anime characters all trying
to destroy the Evil Power of the Ring of Macek, the Ring that
transforms Good Subtitled Anime into Evil Butchered Dubs.

         Okay, I HAVE been drinking far too much Mountain Dew.
