I thought that Mihoshi and Kiyone were at one time partners? According to
the
Mihoshi special, they were. Even if it was a story made
up by mihoshi, she would have to at least known of Kiyone.
Mihoshi special, eh? Someone pointed that out to me, but I'd heard
of it only after this was posted (thanks, patch), so....
Suggestion:you might want to have mihoshi in a 'hero worship' type of mode
as far as Kiyone is concerned. it would make sense as far as the Special
goes to have
her daydream about being a partner to the 'Great Kiyone'.:)
Well, for the purposes of this story, I don't consider the Mihoshi
Special to be canon. It's not something I have access to, and while
purists will berate me for it, I don't have the money to get it, either.
It's in the better interests of the story to continue as planned, and if
it bothers people, and I'm ignoring a pivitol piece of canon, then I'll
just sllap ye olde 'alt' label on the Tenchi section of the disclaimer,
much like I've already done for Sailor moon.
Not saying that I don't value what you have to say -- I do -- it's
just that you're discussing a piece of the continuity I don't have
access to.
Ami's next question died in her throat, as Kohito's window vanished
in a flash of reddish white, and the ship on her screen exploded
violently, a massive gout of starfire venting from the rear of the
damaged mass into space. Her eyes widened, watching sparks -- escape
pods, likely -- explode from the still-flaming wreckage in sequence,
shooting Earthward from the tumbling wreckage.
