The New Usagi

Prologue the rewrite version 1
Kitsune's House March 3, 2003
Kitsune was sitting at her computer reading a Sailor Moon fanfic when she
said, "Man, that Usagi is such a ditz. I could do a much better job at
being her than she can. Sheesh, I wouldn't make half the mistakes she
does."
"LET'S SEE IF YOU ARE SERIOUS ABOUT THAT.", boomed a loud voice from
somewhere.
"What the Hell!?", exclaimed Kitsune as she stood up, looked around
desperately, stumbled over the mountain of 7UP/Pepsi/Dr Pepper cans,
newspapers, and old socks that hadn't been washed in months, searched around
under it there, and picked up her baseball bat. "Who's there? Show
yourself.", commanded Kitsune as she hefted up her baseball bat, and
narrowed her eyes looking around for the intruder. She didn't want to become
a crime statistic that somebody would read about in tomorrow's paper. She
could just see the headline now, "Fanfic Author Found Shot In House By A
Burglar". (Like hell that's gonna' happen.), thought Kitsune.
She held onto her baseball bat tighter. It was old, but it was still in good
condition. (Man, if only I had studied Martial Arts.), thought Kitsune with
regret for not taking her parent's advice and studying Karate when she was a
kid. "Whoever you are, the cops are on their way.", bluffed Kitsune, feeling
a bit of fear but mostly annoyance at having her fanfic reading interrupted.
She hoped whoever it was didn't have a gun. She wondered how they had gotten
past the fence without her noticing.
Suddenly a dark shape materialized in front of her. It was black as a
starless night across which lighter shades of darkness seemed to ripple like
a distant or forgotten echo of light. It had two glowing blue eyes which
were looking at her with a chilling gaze.
"YYYAAAHHH!!!", screamed Kitsune as she jumped back and held her bat tighter.
"RELAX SUGAR.", said a feminine voice softly in a southern accent. "I MEAN
YOU NO HARM."
"What are you? Who are you? What do you want?", asked Kitsune cautiously.
Nothing like this ever happened in the real world, she must have fallen
asleep or something. (Yeah. That's it, I'm dreaming. Been watching too many
episodes of Anime series.)
"NEVER MIND.", said the shape. "AS TO WHAT I AM, I'M AN IMMORTAL WARRIOR."
"You're kidding right?", asked Kitsune incredulously.
"NO, I'M NOT.", said the shape. "YOU CAN CALL ME U-CHAN."
"U-chan?"
"THAT'S RIGHT."
"Why are you here?"
"YOU SHOULD KNOW SINCE YOU SAID IT YOURSELF."
"What?", questioned Kitsune, confusion and question marks written all over
her face. What was going on? What was she talking about? What did she say?
"YOU SAID YOU WOULD MAKE A BETTER USAGI THAN USAGI. SO I AM GOING TO GIVE
YOU A CHANCE. OBSERVE."
A holographic screen materialized in front of Kitsune. It showed a five year
old girl playing in a deserted corner of the park. A moment later a car ran
through the fence , hit her badly , and crashed into a tree.
Kitsune's eyes went wide as he stared at the picture, and the color drained
from her face. "Wh-who is sh-she?"
"THAT IS USAGI TSUKINO ON AN ALTERNATE TIMELINE. YOU KNOW WHAT WILL HAPPEN
TO HER WORLD WITHOUT HER. SHE IS DYING AND MODERN MEDICINE WON'T BE ABLE TO
SAVE HER."
"Can't you do anything to save her?", pleaded Kitsune desperately. She
couldn't die, she just couldn't.
"THE ONLY WAY TO SAVE HER IS TO MERGE THE TWO OF YOU TOGETHER AND HAVE YOUR
BODY HEAL HERS COMPLETELY. BUT DOING THAT WILL RESULT IN THE COMPLETE
DESTRUCTION OF YOUR BODY AND YOUR SOUL MERGED WITH HERS. ALSO DOING IT MEANS
THAT YOU CAN NEVER BE YOURSELF AGAIN."
"Hey, I don't want to loose my personality.", said Kitsune, then she thought
to herself, (If it was Hikaru Shidou I wouldn't even hesitate. Even if it
meant the complete destruction of my own self.).
"WHEN YOU MERGE WITH USAGI, YOU WILL ALSO MERGE WITH HER COUNTER-PART
SERENITY. YOU WOULD SHARE ALL THEIR MEMORIES, EMOTIONS, THOUGHTS, FEELINGS,
AND SOUL, JUST AS THEY WILL SHARE YOURS. I WILL ALSO GIVE YOU THESE GIFTS.
ALL THE KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND THE MEMORIES ABOUT TECQNIQUES OF THE CANNON
RANMA SAOTOME. THE ABILITY OF PERFECT MEMORY. THE GUARANTEE OF PERFECT
SANITY , YOU WILL NEED IT."
Kitsune got a bad feeling hearing that last part.
"Why are you willing to give me all these things?", asked Kitsune
suspiciously.
"BECAUSE IF SHE DIES NOT JUST HER WORLD BUT HUNDREDS OF PARALLEL / ALTERNATE
WORLDS WILL DIE AS WELL."
"This version of Usagi is that special?"
"WITHOUT HER MANY WORLDS ARE DOOMED INCLUDING MY OWN."
"Why can't you save your own world?"
"BECAUSE I AM CHAOS INCARNATE AND MY PRESENCE WOULD RIP THE WORLD ASUNDER. I
CAN EXIST HERE WITHOUT WRECKING THIS WORLD BECAUSE THIS UNIVERSE IS MORE
STABLE THAN ALL THE OTHERS. THE NATURAL LAWS ARE PUT TOGETHER STRONGER WHICH
IS WHY YOU DON'T HAVE SAILOR SENSHI, SUPER POWERED MARTIAL ARTIST, JURAINS,
KAWAII MAGIC KNIGHTS, AND OTHER SUCH THINGS RUNNING ABOUT IT. THE LEVEL OF
CHAOS HERE IS TOO SMALL FOR THEM AND THEREFORE NOT ENOUGH FOR MY PRESENCE TO
DESTROY THIS WORLD. THAT'S WHY I HANG OUT HERE WHENEVER I CAN."
"Oh.", said Kitsune wondering if her world did have more chaos then would
there be super powered Martial Artists running about it.
"What makes you think I'll help anyway?"
"BECAUSE I KNOW YOU WELL."
"Really?", asked Kitsune, "How?".
"I KNOW YOU WILL GO OUT OF YOUR WAY TO SAVE SOMEBODY'S LIFE, EVEN A
COMPLETE STRANGERS. YOU MIGHT BE SLIGHTLY SELFISH, GREEDY, AND LOOKING OUT
FOR YOURSELF BUT YOU ARE THE KIND OF PERSON WHO CANNOT SIT BY AND WATCH EVIL
WIN AND INNOCENT PEOPLE BE SUFFERING WHEN YOU KNOW THERE'S SOMETHING YOU CAN
DO ABOUT IT. AM I RIGHT OR NOT?", asked U-chan.
"Uuuhhhmmm... Yeah you are right. Did you read my mind or something? That's
gotta be how you know all that stuff about me."
"DOES KANSAI HAVE THE BEST OKAYAMNKI(sp) CHEFS?."
"What?"
"NEVER MIND. DO YOU AGREE OR NOT? WILL YOU HELP TO SAVE HER LIFE?"
"Yeah I'll agree, alright then do it."
A Blue Light engulfed Kitsune and she knew no more.

A Park in Juuban June 30'th, 1992
When she awoke she found herself lying on her back in a grassy area.
(I still feel like me.), thought Kitsune. (Maybe I'm still the same.). (I
don't notice any differences.).
Suddenly Kitsune felt her mind filled with knowledge and memories and
thoughts, herself filled with emotions and feelings. She suddenly lived the
complete life of Serenity and Usagi. The merger was a success. There was no
more Serenity, Usagi, or Kitsune ... there was now only one person who could
answer to all three names. Then when she had recovered from that she was
given the Ranma Saotome Gift, the Memory Gift, and the Sanity Gift (which
she was sorely in need of). She couldn't take it and passed out.
15 minutes later.
She suddenly woke up, and she had all the Gifts and could handle them. Her
body was in perfect condition and looking over she could see the car which
had hit her. It was crashed into a tree and caved in very badly.
(Was the idiot driving that thing drunk or doped up?), thought Usagi with
displeasure. (I wonder am I, Serenity, Usagi or Kitsune? Argh! It's so
confusing... My head hurts, I'll think about this later.)
She stood up and, seeing the car, walked carefully
towards it when she tripped over her own feet and fell. "Owie." She rubbed
her sore knee, why was she was so clumsy?
She got back up and stumbled over to the car. She fell down a few times but
she finally got there, and looked inside the window there. What she saw
horrified her. There wasn't much left of the person who had been driving.
But it didn't look like the injuries had been caused by the crash. It
looked like something had bitten him or her. Suddenly a , thing , crawled
forward from the back and hissed at her with a repitilian muzzle filled with
small , sharp , pointy teeth. The same teeth that had caused the bite marks
on what was left of somebody. It eyed her hungrily and grinned evily. There
was an aura of evil surrounding it too.
Usagi jumped back scared out of her wits. The thing started to crawl out of
the window after her now.
(I've got to stop this thing.), she thought. (But how?)
She thought of quite a few plans and discarded them since she was only a
kid. She did not have a teenage bodiy and so that cut down on really quite
allot of how much of the Ranma gift she could use.
The thing was getting out of the window. It was reaching it's hands toward
her.
(This could kill me now.) , thought Usagi as she decided on something. (But
that thing sure will.) , Usagi decided with a determined look on her face.
(Well here goes my only chance now.)
Usagi stepped back a bit and gestured at the car concentrating.
"This better work or I'm dead now."
Then she concentrated on her Ki and aimed it at the car.
"MOKO TAKABISHA!"
The Ki was summoned up in a blue glow that formed between her palms. The Ki
attack was launched and hit it's target right then. The Ki ignited the fuel
in the car and caused it to explode.
The thing's death screams were horrible to hear then.
Usagi looked down at her hands in awe, (Wow! I really did it!).
She felt a stinging sensation and realized she had just been hit with many
glass slivers. She felt a worse pain and clutched her left side of her face
where it felt like somebody had just ran a hot knife accross it. She looked
down and saw a hot metal fragment resting on the ground scorching the grass
there. She felt like she was about ready to pass out from the pain now.
She herd the car twisted by the explosion.
She heard another explosion and the car exploded two more times then in a
huge fireball.
She looked up and saw a wall of flame headed toward her.
(Oh damn.). With that thought, she crossed her arms over her face to protect
her eyes then the blackness took her and she knew no more.

Juuban Hospital June 30'th, 1992
Ikkuko Tsukino was pacing back and forth in front of her daughter's bed. Her
face filled with worry and guilt. How could she have let her daughter wander
off without her?
*Flashback*
Ikkuko had taken her daughter to the park today to celebrate her 5'th
birthday. After all, it was a safe place. But Usagi had wondered off and
safe place or not she was worried about her. Still what could happen in the
park. After all it was very safe here. Unfortunately, when she heard the
explosion, that thought was quickly wiped from her mind. She went running
toward the sound looking for her daughter. There she was on the ground,
nearby a burning twisted car. She quickly ran to her daughter, fearing for
her life. She had been relieved when she realized her daughter was still
alive but fearful when she looked at her. Her daughter looked like she had
been knocked back quite a bit by the explosion and she had many little tiny
slivers of what looked like broken glass embedded in her skin with blood all
over on her face too , her hair was gone , her skin was blistered and called
an ambulance to take her to the hospital. She shuddered as she remembered
the horrible sound that had come from the car and the thing that had crawled
out. It was on fire and walking toward her. She could see it was not human
and feel it's evil aura. She had been terrified until it collasped to the
ground and turned to dust floating away.
*End_Flashback*
The doctors had managed to get all the glass out. Fortunately it had missed
her eyes but unfortunately the doctor said there would be tiny thin white
scars on her face and most of her body. The doctors said that from the top
of her right eye to the bottom of her jaw it would leave a scar. They had
also said that her hair would grow back soon. And the worst part of all they
said she was badly burned but her clothing had protected most of her and she
had shielded her face with her arms but her arms , legs , hands were a mass
of blisters and would be badly scared because of the fire and fragments of
metal.
She heard a moan and saw her daughter stirring. She quickly ran to her side,
grabbing her gauze covered hand very gently. Her daughters entire right side
of her face was wrapped in gauze as was her arms , hands , and legs.
"Usagi, my darling little one. Can you hear me dear?", she asked with much
worry painted all over her face.
Usagi opened her eye and looked at her. She felt the left side of her face
and encountered the bandages. She seemed confused about it and also slightly
afraid. Then she looked at herself, around her room, and at her. She noticed
her hands , arms , and legs were in gauza wrapping. This worried her and she
felt pain in her whole body right now. She got a puzzled expression. After a
minute she finally spoke.
"Where am I? Who're you? And who am I?", asked Usagi.

Little While Ago In A Mysterious Place
<I plan on putting a scene here where Usagi is inside her own mind and
talking with Queen Serenity. The Queen explains about the magic and Ki
overloading her 5 year old body and the damage to her memory synapses. The
Queen explains to Usagi that she will have an perfect memory but will not be
able to recall anything that happened before the overload because those
areas need to shut down to heal themselves and that she will remember when
she is 14 or 15. While in this dreamscape she will appear as Princess
Serenity who was 17 at the time of her death on the moon when Beryl
attacked. It's going to be revealed that Queen Serenity was a Nendo-kata
and that Sailor Pluto was the Princess's Sire. If you want to know about the

when they are talking about what she's going to do while her memory heals,
where to find the other Senshi, and when Queen Beryl is going to break free
she reveals that she can let Usagi remember some things like the Martial
Arts abilities, The Senshi's identities, and Ranma's genius knowledge on a
subconcious level.>

Juuban Hospital Little While Later
Usagi was lying down in the hospital bed. Usagi then moaned and she woke up.
She opened her eyes and looked at the older lady puzzled. At least she
tried to open her eyes but couldn't see out of one of them. She felt around
the left side of her face and encountered what seemed to be bandages and
was confused about why they were there and slightly afraid that something
had happened to her eye, was it blind now. Then she looked down at herself,
around the unfamiliar room, and then at the older lady again. She noticed
what seemed to be heavy guaze bandages on her hands , arms , and legs. This
caused worry and she wondered why she felt so much pain now. After a
minute, she finally spoke.
"Where am I? Who're you? And who am I?", she asked, her eye troubled as she
struggled to remember. All she came up with was a blank.
