Well, it is 'fire', and 'fire' is the kanji in 'Mars', so that's correct.
Mars is associated with war, but the kanji in Rei's name isn't the kanji

for

'war'--it's the kanji used in the name of the planet.  Venus is the only

that follows a different pattern.

meaning...
What I wanted to point out was Usagi knows exactly what the word 'Ai' means.
She would have said something more specific than 'something to do with
Venus.'

And the proper time for Chibi-Usa to appear is one year earlier than

before.  It's still 1995--but it's an "earlier" 1995.

Not that it matters, but are you saying that what Usagi did in the original
series was to erase the events that took place during the war with the Dark
Kingdom but not 'rewind' time?
