Both had heard enough about the change to know what could lock it.

That's something I thought about since the original 'Virus' story came
out. Basically, if pregnacies were miscarried by sex changes, then
humanity would be facing extinction. 
Another 'Virus' though I had was that Waterproof Soap is likely to be a
worldwide bestseller by now.
