***This I do need to ask. Is it two words, or one? And is it BoMburi or
BoNburi? I've seen it both ways and I'm not sure which is proper.

I've always seen it as bonbori -- two words.

 Also,
should I use Shampoo's Chinese variant, i.e. Ko Lon Shan pu Mu Tse etc.
whenspeaking in Chinese? I'm reluctant to use Xian Pu, as I don't want
Shampoo confused with Xian Chi (Zi an Chee) or should I just put the
apostrophe back in Xi'an?***

If you're going to use the Chinese names, I'd suggest using the correct
ones:

Shan Pu
Mu Si
Ke Lun

The characters for each of these names are shown at various places
around the original series (generally the first time each of the names
is mentioned).

"Xian" is a different syllable from "Shan," and "Xi'an" is used for the
two-syllable combination "Xi" + "an" to differentiate it from the
one-syllable "Xian." Neither of these are Shamps' name, though, as you
can plainly discover with copies of the (untranslated) manga and a
Chinese dictionary -- the latter which you can find on the web at
