Already addressed this. You got it on the nose.

Seems Kachiko already had quite an interesting life even before she
fell into the world of her daughters and alleged-future-son-in-law.
It's also a good thing Gos's father met his own 'Ifurita,' or else he
wouldn't have been born.

I don't still have the story in front of me, but there's reason to
assume that whoever/whatever Gos dug up dated/married/whatever with
him..

She did a week later. Kachi says it afterwards. Someone told me Gos's mother
is actually portrayed in the manga at some point and didn't look like that.
So assume something happened between now and then that Ingrid turned out
that way. Given the things I do in this, just about anything you can imagine
is conceivable.

Kachi: Oh my god, Ingrid! What happened to you?

Ingrid: What can I say? It was a very difficult childbirth.

Kachi: You changed nationalities.

Ingrid: As I said, it was very difficult.



Or just assume one of Gos senior's aritfacts had an unusual affect on her.
It's not really important for the purposes of the story.
