I'm glad to see more of the story. I delayed responding until I could
re-read the past chapters. Thanks for giving the URL so I could find them
without having to do a lot of looking.
Nodoka sighed, and picked up her spoon. "I guess
I'm eating alone again." One sip later, a woman
with a rather green complexion was pouring all of
the soup out.
I'm surprised she hadn't tasted it already. Serving without tasting was
one of Akane's big problems.
Shiro shrugged. "She said Nabiki would have to be
pregnant if she skipped a big fancy wedding, or
something like that. It didn't make any sense to
me."
It does make sense. I'm reasonably sure it was not true before the wedding
since Tatewaki and Nabiki haven't mentioned anything like that to each
other, but it was rather a jump from him proposing and confronting Kodachi
to them waking up together. It happened off camera, but I wouldn't be
surprised if they went shopping for rings, got carried away, and proceeded
without much thought. That does seem a bit out of character for Nabiki; I'd
have thought there might be alcohol involved, but there is not indication
of a hangover at the end of chapter 90.
Allison blushed. "Actually, I came to say goodbye.
I'm going home."
That's too bad. She had the makings of an interesting new viewpoint.
"It didn't even occur to me!" Akane paused for a
second, and then gave Ranma an evil look. "Does
that mean I can have your old ones?"
"Yeah, but they looked better on me."
"And they'll be a bit tight in the hips and loose in the --" WHAP!
I guess this isn't The Things We Wish For...
