Ranma believed in the Nannichuan water, the orgastic cure that in a struggle receded before him. And if one day it escapes him- no matter, the next he'll punch harder, engage another fiancee, until one fine morning-

So he beats on, a gender against his preference, torn away ceaselessly from his manhood.

She reached out a hand to the radiant, crystalline sky. "I am a man," she cried, "and that is all."

As I look back upon it, this was really a story of Jusenkyo, the plots and fancies we created merely a result of the power contained within that one training ground.

I REALLY had to comment on this comment as it
boggled me.

You know..I've read o a lot of fanfics and I've read
a lot of novels and I
never in a million years thought anyone would
compare Ranma to Gatsby.
I know have this almost-inspiration of a Jazz age
Ranma.

I do Know Nabiki would look cute as a flapper...

Kuno could be f.Scot and Kodatchi could be
Zelda....

and Ryoga could be the despicable Ernest H.

Then again, maybe the
depressing writing reflects the story. After
all, it _does_ get more
lively at the end.

Ooh... Go ahead, drive me off to read something
else why don't you?
