Aeka might work very well, however, with a more 
developed backstory; if she is the stand-in for Athos,
for instance:  formerly an _extremely_ highly ranked
nobleperson, now an anonymous member of the Queen's
Guard due to tragedy in her past.

Heh.  Maybe we'll even get to see an evil Tenchi with
a fleur-de-lis on his shoulder?
