Okay, here goes...

Arriving shortly on the heels of this post should be the very first fanfic 
I post here and I just wanted to say a few things about it.

The basic idea behind it is that Evangelion is the future of Ranma's Tokyo. 
No need for any kind of magical interventions, both worlds are part of one 
and the same reality/timeline (which for Evangelion is an alternate to the 
canon one).

The series will follow most of the Evangelion story, beginning with 
Shinji's arrival in Tokyo 3, but of course differences will start occurring 
really soon. A lot of things will not change, however, and I will not be 
writing any scenes that are just carbon copies of Evangelion. This will 
include most of the combat scenes, which is good because I'm not good at 
writing combat anyway...

Ranma's world will of course be very different, 20 years and a Second 
Impact tend to do that. Ranma and everybody else is 20 years older and the 
teens have become adults. I don't think I made anybody change in a way that 
does not fit their character, but feel free to point out things you feel 
are wrong.

The overall tone of the story will be closer to Evangelion than to Ranma, 
but there should be enough comic relief, I hope.

Anyway, enough rambling. I will welcome any and all C&C that can improve 
the story and, if you like it, I hope to start working on the next chapter 
some time soon.
