I agree.  The one thing that did bother me about the fic was the part about 
the mallet, which is a common fanfiction myth.  To my knowledge, Ranma has 
*never* been given a trip via 'Akane Airways' with a mallet in the actual 
manga. Involuntary skyview flights were always with either a punch or a 
kick - usually a kick.

I can't vouch for the anime, since I haven't actually watched much past the 
first season in that, but I *have* read the entire manga several times 
through and cannot recall a single instance in which *anyone* has been 
malletted UP. To my knowledge every time a mallet is used, it's always to 
smash someone *down*.
