C. Jones wrote:

C&C is very welcome on both 'The Clan' and 'Gabriel', but the plots on
both
stories are pretty much final.

So in other words, you're not really looking for C+C; you're looking for
grammar corrections and nods of approval. You should make it clearer when
asking for these things, as saying 'C+C is very welcome' might mislead
people into giving some. There's no sense in wasting time giving
suggestions
to someone that's going to ignore them before they're given when there are
many others starved for C+C.

Gah. I wrote this earlier and finished right when Jones posted his reply.
Glad I held on to it instead of just deleting the thing, since it seems once
again to be somewhat appropriate.

I think it means, "You can comment on whatever you like, but don't expect me
to change the story based on your comments." There's no need to pick fights
based on past experiences, especially for something that wasn't posted to
the ffml, is there? The comments wouldn't be directed to the ffml, so this
issue should be dealt with privately. We've already beat this horse to
death, can we skip doing it again and simply re-awaken our feelings of rage
or righteousness that we were left with last time, and stew in our own
little circles about how good/bad the world is? Isn't that good enough?
Please?

Now, as a note-at-the-end type of thing: Jones did not send his story to the
list. Spam him, send him all the flames or praises or money or mailbombs
you want, but please keep it off the ffml, because such things don't belong
here. I shouldn't have to add auto-delete instructions to my mail proggy
for this nonsense.
