Nah, Dudley's redeemable. It's the other Dursleys that

Oh... I disagree. He's supposed to be a two-sided, flat 

character. The 

evil stepbrother who simply can't be saved.

So is Draco, for that matter.

So? So is Kuno, according to most Ranma fans, yet it's been 
done for him. And for Kodachi. Who flippin' cares?

Both of the above are clinically insane, and the traditional method of
redeeming them is having them snap out of it. This won't work for neither
Draco nor Dudley, who are products of their respective upbringing, and still
quite sane, from the available evidence. Thus, redeeming them is harder to
accomplish, and perhaps more interesting to read about...

On another note, I found it kind of discouraging that of the 40+ really huge
(200k word and above) HP fics on FF:net, none came up when listing Harry/Cho
fics. And the only one that was more than 100k words (my usual lower limit
in these huge categories) was so horribly spoiled in one of the "reviews"
that I no longer want to read it...
