Well, I guess someone had to say that this is a good fic overall. So here I
am.



The single thing that hooked me into butting in is the Ki attack discussion.
What's the point about arguing on this issue?



First of all, this is a crossover, where we "suppose" that both LH and R 1/2
are part of one same universe. If we analyze the basics of both mangas, we
could say that it is not such a far fetched idea, on the contrary of a R 1/2
DB fic, where you have to either redefine one universe or another, otherwise
nothing makes sense.



Having said this, Shade is in his right to define Motoko and Ranma's power
levels and attacks as he desires in his fics as long as he maintains some
sort of consistence in HIS fic, not regarding what someone else might or
might not think about them.



Ranma and LH are not about power levels, in fact, they have very little
consistence on this aspect, so why can't we give Shade a little bit of room
in here? It is not as if he proposed something utterly ridiculous while
trying to stay in cannon, like SO MANY fics have done before. Ranma the
supergod with DBesque abilities is a classic when dealing with power levels,
just like Akane the homicidal MS queen, Nabiki the yakuza lord, master of
whatever related to gathering information and blackmailing or Genma the
"every character in this fic wants to kill him" father are when dealing with
characterizations.



Have we seen this? Nope. He is just trying to merge both universes together,
and doing a fine job at it.



IF (and I mean the caps) I remember correctly, Motoko had to learn how to do
that attack that goes through people, as she just hit whatever the attack
found in its way first. This means that Ranma could learn it later on, and
that it could be based on Ki/Chi/whatever.



To close this, let's notice that Ki/Chi/whatever is treated in different
ways in both mangas, as it is something that only lives on the imagination
of the author (are there any real laws of how you can use Ki? ... I thought
so). We know and love LH, same thing for R 1/2, now let's read a bit more of
Chasing Dreams before we condemn it because of something as petty as this.
