As it is, the Tek suits are just battlesuits with
mental conditioning from an alien race. Why call 'em
Tek? It would work almost as well to make this not a
crossover, but instead have the battlesuits be a
hidden cache of Silver Millenium tech. (Say, they
created the asteroid belts during testing; part of the
Moon Kingdom's regret included a vow never to speak
the dead planet's name again.)
frankly, the old "let's turn
the heroes into an ultimate corrupt evil force" shoe
is hard to pull off
without turning them into nasty, nasty cliches. From
what I saw here, you're
well on the way to doing precisely that, and that
kind of villain just isn't
interesting to read.
I'll agree that there is some danger of that, but I
don't think it'd be that hard to correct. For
example, it almost sounds like it's Mercury who
actually runs the show; she just lets everyone think
Usagi is the ultimate power (because, among other
things, Usagi may in fact have enough power to strike
Mercury down). Having the Senshi corrupt in their own
ways, and exploring the justifications and emotions
running through their minds as they do that which
ruins the world, might be interesting. (For instance,
Africa might have been the result of Jupiter, Mars,
and/or Venus trying to finally bring an end to its
constant warfare, but the peace they wound up bringing
was the peace of the dead. How did they feel about
that at the time, and how do the memories affect them
now? Do they still try to keep to their mission of
justice? Do they believe they have no responsibility
for their power? Or something else?)
