     I ask because the tone of the two stories is very different, to
the point I really don't want Kasumi and Ranma to meet up.

They will meet up, as they are in the same shared universe. I'm not sure
what you mean by "meet up"? If you are referring to romantically, then no,
I have no plans for that.

I don't think that Ranma would actually be able to deal (romantically)
with someone who is roughly fout times as powerful as he is with no real
training or disadvantages.
