* Sigh* Folks. A reminder. Just because you post something publically doesn't mean the people responding to you are doing the same. In this particular case I don't mind DA posting my comments to him (too much). I only did it privately since my response doesn't have much to do with the story and to me, reeks too much of spam to be public.

% Doesn't have any bearing on the story itself. I don't think (though I could be wrong) anyone saying the Japanese police wouldn't do it, just that the execution in which MS used the idea was off. So far most of the public comments have related directly to the story, which is good. Keep it that way. It's far too easy for these things to spiral out of control (such as trying to find out which country has the highest quantity vs quality of porn). So far it hasn't, so by all means, keep the C+C flowing, but keep it on the story and responses relating to the story.
