Where in the manga does it say her power is equal to that of
Kami-sama?

...that's meaningless, considering we've never seen what Kami-sama is
capable of. We simply have no way to compare, which is why I asked if
it was specifically stated. I'm a couple of volumes behind, IIRC, and
it might have come up without me knowing about it.
It's not meaningless - it doesn't prove Hild and Kami-Sama are equal in
power but it does prove that messing with Hild is not something anyone
would want to do - regardless of whether they are Mortal, God(dess) or
Demon(ess).
The end effect of a sufficiently pissed off Hild is pretty much the same
as the Sun going super-nova -- Ragnarok/Armageddon whatever you want to
call it (Remember we know Belldandy can destroy the planet and is leagues
below Hild in power levels).
Question is: can Hild be sufficiently pissed by Happosai? I _heavily_
doubt it. She's more likely to strip him of any demonic powers and
consign his soul to the deepest pits of hell.
Besides - I doubt Happosai could even pass through her protective
force-fields.
Given, but we're dealing with comedy. You KNOW he's gonna test her
patience, regardless. At this point, I think it'd be more fun to start a
pool on what kind of frilly lil' nothings she wears under all that evilness
and sinistry (conservative whites, anyone?)
And, for sake of cannon (anime, anyway), no one is safe from a Happousai.
