Are you volunteering to subsidize me to write full time so that I don't

I wish I could still write at the pace I once did, but I'm going as fast
as I can. Unfortunately, that pace is slow, especially since two of my
big projects have co-authors who now work full time jobs.

Why do so few fanfiction authors ever investigate the real Japan? For
example, Juuban is a real district in Tokyo. In fact, Naoko Takeuchi
lives there with her husband Yoshihiro Togashi, creator of Yu Yu
Hakusho. Information about Juuban is readily available online.
Similarly, Nerima is a real ward in Tokyo and contains the ultra
prestigious Waseda University Senior High School. Yet I don't ever
recall reading a Ranma fic that used this fact (such as some sort of
competition between Waseda and Furinkan).

Because 99% of our readers don't know Japan either, so it would be wasted
effort.

Especially for those of us who work full-time/school full-time/otherwise
have big drains on our time which can make our fiction come out slowly.
