Makes for some real heavy reading...

Can't wait to see what happens in chapter two, especially with the
cliffhanger in the second to last paragraph.

     I'm sorry.  I couldn't diagree with you more.  As soon as I started
reading, I knew exactly how it was going to end.  I agree it shows great
promise, but you read through it, and again, and you're left with the
inescapable conclusion the author was trying to say something, maybe
something profound, and you haven't the faintest idea what it is.
     I would suggest you try and match the characters actions to their

words

a bit more carefully, the motivation seems completely incomprehensible

to

me.

Okay... I agree that the ENDING was predictable.   AND yes, it IS an often
used plot.  But in my opinion the writing was well done, the phrasing was
rather novel, and the unexpected tack of posting the fic in Old High

Martian

was quite clever.

Besides, we don't get enough Digimon/Utena crossovers here anyway, much

less

those that work.

Ah now that makes more sense, I thought it was a rewrite of the story of the
same name on FF.net by Golden Arms http://www.fanfiction.net/s/2108123/1/
which is a Ranma story about a post-17th Manga Volume situation.  If it
really is Digimon/Utena, it considerably more understandable.   I can also
see why two enjoyed the ending.  Such a plot twist is hackneyed and cliched
in Ranma fan-fics, but I've never seen it done in anything Utena related.
     Thank you for your clarification, I can now look at this in a new, more
appropriate light.
